Yes, I know. But when I made the video that machine hadn't been launched yet. It is almost as if bulkman stole my idea, haha 😄.

In the US, we have Avid CNC which uses ballscrews. Benchtop 2' x 3' mechanical kit starts around $2400 USD.

I thought they only had larger, more expensive, machines. Thanks for sharing.

@@OffHoursEngineering It's debatable if the Avid series is within the same price point, but it's the cheapest I found that isn't full DIY which includes ball screws. I received my 1000 x 1000 mechanical kit a couple weeks ago, so I really appreciate your time and effort put in to the series, it has already helped a ton.

Yeah, it is definitely one step more expensive, but all in all I paid around 2000 USD for my machine so far, with freight and taxes and everything so still not a huge amount more. I'm glad to hear you found it useful, that's why I did it, to help people.

I purchased an EMI Filter for both vfd and meanwell power supply and ferrite cores for my QB 1.5KW hahaha just to make sure I dont get any electrical noise.

Well it won't hurt anything 🙂. And your power company will thank you as well. Any high frequency switching puts weird waveforms on the grid that your supplier will have to deal with. (It doesn't matter on this small scale, but high power consumption industries often have to pay extra to the power company for filtering out all the noise they put on the grid)

Interesting... I didn't know that well at least I am no longer encountering any false triggering unlike my 2 previous CNC builds hehehe.

Yes, I know, their "Ultimate Bee". But they didn't have that when I bought my QueenBee, I think they only launched it before Christmas last year.

I know a guy who cells custom bearings with ball screws (12mm) for this Queenbee Kit. Feel free to contact me.
