Well, being QOTSA one of my favourite bands, I could say literally dozens of singers better than Josh: Freddy Mercury, Chris Cornell, Chester Benington, Luciano Pavarotti, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince, Dio, Eddie Vedder, Bon Scott, Alex Terrible, Rob Halford, Usher, Bruce Springsteen, Camilo Sesto, George Michael, Robert Plant...and the list goes on and on. I love how Josh sounds, but objectively he is not a great singer. And I only thought about males voices, probably the list is bigger on the female side...
@@user-by1rw9mp1n thats a really dumb metric to compare singers by. in my humble opinion, his voice is far more interesting to listen to than any of those you listed, the "best" singer is such an incredibly subjective thing that is is a pointless waste of time trying to compare them like that. Call whoever you want your favorite, because if you base it on technical skill then you are gonna go with an opera singer and those guys sound like SHIT! (in my opinion of course)
+i'mfeelingsupersonic Qotsa songs played acoustically are amazing and it's not that hard to figure out, sounds like you've never listened to the volumes of Desert Sessions that were recorded back in the late nineties. You should
i'm angry that i slept on their music all these years. i came to find one song, but i love every song that i've decided to take a listen to. great music!
+Raquel Gutierrez They're told not to make too much noise, because they're being recorded and likely played over the radio for other listeners to enjoy.
wonder why he´s not playing a acoustic bass, would sound much more fullisch, kinda. just guitars sound a bit thin, thay so nice on beat that a 4th guitare/basse wouldent be to much. maybe he is a bad one :D
Just imagine being in the crowd of such an intimate show. I know such small shows never have the same sort of atmosphere of the massive 100000+ crowd shows but everyone seems so disinterested in what’s happening right in front of there eyes. Seen more excitement at a funeral
You know what i love with QOTSA? That they take super serious their music and we ca feel it. I love their energy and mainly their creativity and originality! I hope i can see you once live! Congrats guys!!! Best, Alfi
