Josh Homme is one of those singers that you don't notice how good he is until you see him live. You kind of take it for granted. Unfortunately didn't get to see the MONA gig but the Hobart gig was brilliant.
It's so awesome to see Josh really grow into the role of Band Leader. The way he instructs the band to build, stop and loop certain sections of the song is fascinating.
QOTSA... one of the most under-appreciated bands of our time. This song is so classic. Reverberations of Pink Floyd and The Doors, but modernity relevant to our time. Wonderful performance!
I don't actually think I'd be able to keep it together hearing this version live...I'm sure I would dissolve or something. Josh's voice is too much 💜💜💜
