Queensrÿche's "Walk in the Shadows" from the Building Empires Tour. This concert was recorded in 1991. Geoff Tate(Vocals) Chris DeGarmo(Guitar) Michael Wilton(Guitar) Eddie Jackson(Bass) Scott Rockenfield(Drums)
This is when they were in their prime. Listen how the drums & bass move the whole song. Scott Rockenfield & Eddie Jackson = one of the best rhythm sections...ever. So sad that the band was never the same after Chris Degarmo left.
very good song and killer beat...oh and those vocals from Geoff are out of this world....where can I get a cool white shirt like he has?..maybe a black one to..
I LOVe this song! Rage for Order is my all time fave. Queensryche album . st week it came out i borrowed the cassette from a friend and man i wanted too keep it! Suprised i didn't warp it after so many listens .
I remember seeing this show way up in Richfield near the Cleveland area when I was younger. They had Suicidal Tendencies opening up for them. Unreal!! The lasers were sweet as hell at that one. I don't even have to comment on the music.
Yeah, and he is "The Best Guitarrist in The World" a hard working man and "He's nailin Tate's Daughter". Taken from "That Metal Show" interview to Geoff Tate. He used to play with Tate's solo project and he wanted to learn the songs note by note.
Even though when Chris is gone. Right now is still like that. I don't know who the young guitarrist is but thwy still do it like that. I am new to Queensryche. But this is exactly what I though. Hey, that is just like my last band.
An absolutely fantastic song, but I can't say the same for the rest of the album. Maybe I was spoiled by the fact that Operation Mindcrime was my introduction to the band...they have some damn good stuff, but none of their other albums even come close to that one.
