I was so excited to introduce my parents to Svankmajer, and thought I'd start them off with something tame, like The Last Trick, but no that was way too much for them!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I find the majority of Quentin's videos highly disturbing, and I never watch them late at night. And yet I can't stop watching them.
It's so good to see facial feature night storage done correctly. I knew of one chap who used to drop his into a bucket of water with a capful of added disinfectant. Very sloppy. Well done Quentin.
That is not normal. You can't tell me that he did not remove his finger- and toenails before he goes to sleep. Like an animal. He lives like an animal, i'll tell you.
Being in a wheelchair with useless legs, it occurred to me that other folk I call “walkies” don’t consider at all how to take their own socks off before getting into bed, they just do it. I have to actually plan it maybe an hour in advance. I constructed a complex system of pullies and levers with a grabby hand on the end to remove my socks to make it easier.
