@@junglie No, it was the high calcium content of a dog's diet, which back in the 60s and 70s, had a lot of bone meal in plus dogs ate more bones and because the poo wasn't collected, any moisture tended to evaporate, which is why you generally only saw it in warmer, drier months. I almost expected Fred Harris and Brian Cant to turn up at one point. Fred was well known for rolling up the sun-dried white dog eggs and smoking them, while Brian was more partial to the lesser-known yellow ones, after first removing the little nutty bits. Meanwhile, Derek Griffiths disapproved so much of this habit, he quit the show and hosted 'Film Fun' instead, but not before helping in the cover up of the near-scandalous pregnancy of Hamble by Little Ted. Its to do with the production of dog food vastly improving since the 70's. The nutrition is so good now the calcium deficency in dogs had virtually been got rid of. (Makes you wonder if dogs eat better now than we humans do!)
As Quentin is clearly a man of means. I wonder if he would consider taking me as a concubine? I am good at darning socks and can cook an adequate flan. I also have an extensive collection of baked beans that resemble people from history, which he may be interested in perusing. I await his call.

I had the misfortune to be watching this video on the Bus, and Quentin's posterior hoving into view caused a bit of a stir among the passengers. They were calmed somewhat, seeing him delightfully riding through the Countryside on his Lloyd's Horse.....Only to be disturbed again by the White Dog faeces! There's no pleasing some people......
The black beauty freedom on horseback feeling is exactly the same feeling i get when finding a coin with my metal detector but when it turns out to be a ring pull or a bottle top then just like the end of this video is exactly the way i feel - dejected.
