I just got back today from seeing him last night! It was about 7 hours just to NYC but it was worth it. I saw him speak at 'Town Hall' in Times Square, and I have to say I have never seen a Director get that big of a crowd outside trying to get autographs and see him. His ride was surrounded by people about 5 people deep on all sides. People were happy and begging him to at least roll down his window, and he did. He was very kind and I asked if I could get a high five and I got one and I was ecstatic. I yelled out "Quentin Tarantino is the Tom Cruise of Directors". It made me happy to see a Writer/Director get that much respect.

Sadly, it’s not gonna happen. Tarantino worked on the script with Jerrod Carmichael and apparently they wrote a 500million dollar movie lol. Apparently it was really really good and Antonio Banderas was enamored with it but the budget would be off the rails The Mask of Zorro is maybe my favorite movie of all time and Django Unchained is right up there too for me so I’ve been dreaming and praying that this movie would get made but it doesn’t look like it anymore However QT wrote a comic book Django/Zorro crossover a few years after Django Unchained came out in theaters which I have and is really fun and has really cool artwork

@helpfulcommenter Год назад
@@Ganiscol I’m not kidding myself just pointing out it’s not just Quentin. Roger and his daughter are actually the ones who run the show fyi. It would be more accurate to say that Roger Avary “has a podcast” that features his old friend Quentin Tarantino. Also, you state that “hardly anyone would listen to it without QT” - it wouldn’t exist without QT because the whole premise of the show is them watching videos from the video store they both used to work at together that sold its entire collection to Quentin when it shut down. It’s Quentins collection they’re watching. That’s the whole premise. Why are you so defensive about Roger Avary making a podcast about his friends video collection?

No reason why QT should care for Isadora Duncan but she pushed the boundaries of dance at that time in a similar manner to QT and film. Plus, she did die in the way depicted so any one who knew of her life would have known it was coming. Amazingly, there have been theatrical productions of her life where they have had to somehow show the scarf death happening on stage.
