I have read a few of these reviews who seem to have problems with the Quest Max. Had mine a year now ( I use it 2-3 times a week), and the only issue I have is the stiff on/off button.
Am I correct in thinking this does Ground Balancing by a short press on the power button? I was using this in Boost mode in highly mineralised soil and getting a lot of false signals, but a short press on the power button whilst in the soil seemed to sort it. You do not mention this in your video. I accidentally did a short press on the power whilst right next to a large metal object and i then started getting the Raise Coil issue. I could not get it to work again at the time, but then started the pointer up again later and it seemed ok. Does it reset itself after a certain time period? Also is there a manual way to Factory Reset? Thanks
I am a year into using this pin pointer now and very happy with it. Only slight thing I think would be good is to make the lowest sound setting much quieter. I detect in fields with horses and some of them still do not like it even on quietest setting. Obvs it can be used in vibrate mode only but it definitely helps to have a sound too.
that seems interesting, also for underwater because with the Pulsedive, it's detecting iron too and i lost a lot of time digging for what turned out to be iron. And that also happens in the field where most deep holes reveal a rusty nail or other piece of iron.
Hello 😀😀.. I'm using pulse dive underwater too.. Lots of waste time digging everything underwater.. Was thinking.. To use the quest pinpointer in combination with pulse dive underwater.... But you say.. its faulty...did you use it underwater?? Would be nice to have a reply..Thank you!
To be honest i never used the quest pinpointer. I like my Xpmi6 pinpointer. I had a nokta previously,but lost it in a field. XPmi6 i like it because it can be used with the Dues 2,i can pair the pinpointer and watch it pin point a target, on screen. Also it can find the Mi6, if lost for some reason. Price of the top Quest metal detector, seems very good.
Mine is going back for replacement/repair. Not working correctly. Doesn't pinpoint very good and it starts beeping all of a sudden and it can only be stopped by short-pressing the ON-button. I know it sounds weird, but it's like sunshine triggers the beeping?!🙄

Hey Chris, it will arrive in Europe around September, but as the world works at the moment this is not 100 % certain. The price depends on the dealer you will buy it from, but most will offer it around 150 to 170 € if I have to guess. Thank you for watching!
@@79giggi You can recharge the battery with the cable included in the box, just screw off the battery cap and insert the cable into the USB type C port and connect the other end of the cable to a charger like the one you recharge your smartphone with, or a computer/laptop/other device with an USB port. If your device's battery is damaged or broken, contact the dealer you bought it from so he can send it to our sevice center for a free repair. I hope I could help! :-)

Have to agree with comment made below , cannot operate buttons because they have to be pressed really hard, especially the programme button, have to get someone else to do this!! disappointed.
