Watch Two and a Half Men on IFC!
Two and a Half Men originally aired on CBS for twelve seasons. Originally starring Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, the series was about a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper, his uptight brother, Alan, and Alan's mischievous son, Jake. As Alan's marriage falls apart and divorce appears imminent, he and Jake move into Charlie's beachfront Malibu house and complicate Charlie's freewheeling life. Ashton Kutcher was hired as Walden Schmidt, a billionaire who buys Charlie's house after his death.

Actually, she made it clear that she wanted him to leave her and her daughter alone. And he refused to do so, while making it clear that he wanted her to leave her child with someone she doesn't know. It's not on her to accommodate Charlie or Jake in that situation, and very easy to see how she might feel threatened by him.

Everybody has this notion that Charlie Sheen was the focus point and some even said it was his show (even Brooke Shields in a blooper reel I saw here) but they keep ignoring the superb acting of Jon Cryer as Alan. And I must admit the writers knew how to get the best out of it... Which totally was gone when they had to try and make it work with Kutcher who was given an impossible task of keeping the same chemistry going... I repeat, with the brother connection gone so went the show...

That final clip is of a missed opportunity by the writing team. They should have pursued an arc where Jake becomes a loveable idiot who gets laid a lot. That would have given him both Charlie and Alan's most notable characteristics.
