Well AJ, once again you treated someone to a lesson in Speckled trout fishing that no book nor anyone else could ever do! That was a awesome evening of fishing!! I don’t believe that guy will ever forget this trip. I know that I would not forget the trip or that rocket boat ride back to the dock!! HaHa!
Great video, glad y'all caught a mess. The wife and I were down there a while back and stayed at The Wharf right there and told the owner we were coming back for sure. We had such a good time we are going to be moving down that way in a few years after our daughter goes off to college. New subscriber here keep the videos coming.
AJ , What a fantastic quick trip. Loved watching it. Tell your buddy Nate thanks for showing you how to truly fish he’s fantastic. You have a little competition with him on the boat
For any of you guys wonder if his boat is fast…..IT’S A DAMN ROCKET!!! Oh by the way AJ that was a nice little awesome trip ya’ll had there, the kind you dream about when u can just cast out and reel it in and catch a trout just about every cast! Great video buddy!
AJ,your Buddy Nate was going damn Shite Dude where's something to hold on too when You lifted off after the No wake zone,he May have spray painted on himself ,lol..Great catch once again AJ!!Keep the vids coming!!
Awesome trip,AJ🎣🐠Told ya bout my Medicare Client who loaned me incredible Johnson Service Manual, covering motors from 40-55 hp and easy to follow with diagnostic charts PLUS tools and adapters to make jobs easier. They list Evinrude tool numbers and should come in handy. Nick and I took a chance and fished the Bayou Lacombe area today,I managed to hook big stingray plus foul-hooked tiny blue catfish and we did see two guys nab about five decent specks, looked like Dey was using ya ole-school sparkle beetles looking this glow color. Got few more parts to show up then should have ole Power Trim better than original.
@@Laproducemanit was a boat show out there this Saturday morning. No less than 5 people ran over my line lol. I’m done with that area for a bit so I’ll be hitting up hopedale this weekend
Awesome Catch, Had Some Nice Mules In The Beginning, Glad You Don't Mind a Little Fish Flavor On Your Drinks Lol.. Definitely a Good Idea To Keep That CounterFrom The Beginning, Pain In The Butt To Have To Count Them When They're Biting. You Had Yourself a Fish Catcher In The Boat Today, Gave You a Run For Your Money, Which I'm Sure You Welcomed, And That Camera Angle Look As Though Yall Were Throwing Over Each Other, Was An Optical Effect I Guess. Nice Box Fun Looking Trip, Good Job 👍😎 BTW : Whats Up With Those Disco Party Barges?
Thanks for watching. Them party boats carry tourist to go look at the wall that protects the city. They also do party’s on it by the hour. But what they don’t realize they will be met by the hyenas a.k.a. mosquitoes when they get off that boat 😆. And they’re out in full force like I’ve never seen before at dark!!
@@Laproduceman Somebody's Making Some Money, Guess They'll Be Drinking Enough Alcohol To Fend Them Off or Not Worry About Them Until The Next Day🦟🍾🍸🍷🍹🍻🥃🦟🦟
Thanks we were using 3/8. Cisco tried 1/2 oz and couldn’t get a bite the other day. I tried a 1/2 oz when we were fishing the deep water and I couldn’t get a bite. I put the 3/8 back on and continued to catch fish again.
The current is smoking that’s why Cisco struggled. The young guy could adapt to what I was doing because he’s not set in his ways. And it helps he’s a good bass fisherman.
Mine is pretty costly because I have a bad wrist. I wanted as light of a setup as I can get. 13 fishing 7’1 medium light Lews custom lite 30lb braid 15lb leader mono or floro what ev
How come you don't do catch clean and cook's that's the icing on the cake, I mean your videos are exciting but everyone catches them, only a few actually take the time to show how they clean and cook them up, i know y'all are eating them
@@Laproduceman holy crap man! That's awesome!! What's the setup, boat make and motor? You should do a tour video of your boat and gear setup for fishing brother....
You get such a tiny filet from a 12 inch trout, I think it’s better to throw them back and let them grow and populate. Eat the 14 to 18 inch fish and also throw back the bigger trout to spread the bigger trout genes…. Thoughts?
I rather eat 12”-14” trout. I personally don’t want 15-20” fish to eat but that’s just me. I have friends that will keep 20”-23” and eat them everyone is different. But if we can’t keep 12” fish then you might as well not fish August and September until you have deep pockets to run way outside.
Yeah… everybody’s different…. I don’t particularly enjoy catching 12 inch trout. I won’t mind if they up the size limit it may produce larger classes of fish in the long run.
@rorychag I would agree with that. I fish 5-6 different cadences until I find what works. Hopefully people can understand that I’m sure you understand. Hopefully we didn’t get off on the wrong foot about the trout size. If I’m with somebody that spends their money to catch fish I feel like they have the right to keep anything they want. I’m not against a 15 fish limit 12”-20” maybe one over 20”. But the guys with bigger boats and deep pockets will just run outside and keep all the 19-20 something were throwing back. Just my opinion. But like I said if we can’t keep 12” trout in Louisiana we might as well not fish until fall.
