Looks like you guys had the marsh to yourself. Good job at putting them in the boat. The majority we caught Saturday were too small. I will head back that way in two weeks. Thank for the video.
Think the reason all dem specks are in the bayou has to do with the shear volume of bait out there. Today me and Nick ended up with 3 fine teal and we did try for specks but ended up only getting a few bites. Saw no one catching anything and at least five boats were out there. Thanks for ya video. Got one more teal hunt in dis ole body🦆🤪🛶👍🎣🐠
Nice catch. I fished there regularly several years ago but for no specific reason just don’t go anymore. The mouth of that bayou is also productive as well as where it splits.
Very good video as usual. You all were really on them. A little tip, I see you mark your ruler as i do ,but now I mark mine with either red or silver sharpie. To me it is easier to judge those close ones.
Glad they were biting, let's see if one of these hurricanes shakes things up they might turn on even better right before if we get a small hurricane. 🤠
No we don’t want or need a hurricane it will get better with 2 cold fronts to get most of the shrimp out the marsh. That’s our problem this year too much shrimp. It’s hard for them to stay in one place.
I don’t much care to join Dennis in his “catch and release program at the boat “ that he appears to be doing, lol! I like to at least put’em in the boat and then release’em !
Yesterday went out , first thing had that same strange bite ,set the hook only for trout getting, off , so decided to break out one of rope jigs , never lost any using them , 25 trout 2 flounders before 9am , sent a couple pics to Tony
