Quick and easy AR15 trigger polishing
This should be the 1st mod that you do when building an AR. Polishing the trigger and hammer where they come into contact so that there is less friction between the 2 when pulling the trigger.

Thanks Rick. Yeah no more than a minute or 2 on the trigger and probably under a minute of polishing on the hammer should be more than enough.

I polished my trigger and hammer yesterday and now it has a stronger pull. It was about 2.5 lbs prior to the polishing and now it's at about 5.5 lbs. Anybody know if thats normal?

Why on Earth would you polish a 2.5 lb trigger? Did you really want it to be lighter than 2 and 1/2 lb?

@@GuacIsExtra99 That sounds real safe. If you can't pull a 2.5 lb trigger who without moving the gun, making it .75 lb will probably not fix that. Good chance of causing a negligent discharge though.
