Hi friend, do you happen to know what yarn you used in the thumbnail picture? Thank you for another lovely pattern and pleasant tutorial video 💕 🥂 Cheers!
I love the stunning green yarn and the beautiful drape of the shawl. The fringe really sets the shawl off. Looks like something cozy that I would find in an Irish goods shop; a very romantic vibe.
You are a terrific teacher! You explain things clearly slowly, but not too slow. Thank you for sharing all of these patterns with us. I know I’m not the only one who appreciates all your work. L.
Anya, this shawl is so lovely. Green is my favorite color. The camera shows this in so many different shades of rich green to teal. Love it! Thank you 💚
Thank you Ophelia for this shawl. I made it and am so happy with how it turned out. I did use more strands of yarn for the fringe so it would be a thicker fringe. I used Lionbrand heartland yarn in a beautiful weathered green. You are the best. [from the state of Iowa].
The shawl is just beautiful. What a lovely color. I just love the C2C technique, but I'm afraid I find them nightmarish enough to start off without using a larger hook than recommended for my yarn! I've just not quite figured out the secret to starting them off with just the proper tension, so a lot of work goes into wrangling the origin corner into something that actually resembles a corner. They look fine once I've added a border? lol
😊suuuuperb explanation Already on to it I’m using a bright yellow yarn Just loving making it and learning the C2C way I thought it to be really complex but you explained it with ease 🌺🌺🌺
Splendid video, Anja! The shawl is so lovely and your presentation a pure delight! I'm especially glad to learn how to make the border at the top of the shawl straight. Thank you so much for all your excellent tutorials!💕🥰❣
I completed mine yesterday in cafe latte brown. I lightly washed it making it so soft and then applied the fringe. I can’t wait for cool weather. I plan to make others as this is very easy and finished off beautifully.
Hi I know I’m commenting late but this shawl is beautiful. So I found some pretty pine tree green yarn today. I’m going to try this shawl. It’s the first time making one of your patterns. Your photo shoots are so lovely ❤️
Dear Sweet Ophelia , what woods and stream were you walking by? So lovely I live in the U. S. and it looks like many of our woods and streams. I have already begun my shawl. Also I pray all is well with your Mama.
@@OpheliaTalks Thank you , such a beautiful spot you put so much work into all your videos. I have watched your channel for years. Every shawl , blanket and purse you are a great teacher. Again Thankyou!
I really don't know what it measured, it has been washed several times obviously, plus your tension will be different to mine, trial and error, good luck, and thank you, Anja x
I really cannot say… i crochet every hour of the day i am not working cooking cleaning or sleeping! Enjoy your creative proces and crochet me time! That is what it is all about really! Anja x
Hello Valerie, I had 6 balls of Aran that I wanted to use up, so for measurement I go by fingertip to fingertip across the back and shoulders, then add about 30cms, this gives a nice big wrap around, nice and cosy, hope this helps. Anja x
