Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe
Ingredients :
4 tablespoons Water
200g (1 Cup) Sugar
60g (1/4 cup) Butter, cubed
180g (3/4 cup) Cream
1 Teaspoon Salt
Methods:
1. Add water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring it to boil and cook for 5-6 minutes until mixture turns a deep golden colour. Do not stir, just swirl the pan to even the colour out
2. Once it reaches the colour, lower the heat, and add in the butter
3. Stir till well combined and remove from heat
4. Add in the cream, slowly, it will bubbles up and that is completely fine
5. Add in the salt and stir for 1 minute (to dissolve)
6. Let it cool completely and keep refrigerated
