You know that Yuma is a Kodaka Protagonist if he continuously tries to be besties with people who try to kill them .

Vivia honestly gives off Chapter 4 and 5 Nagito vibes. Except, a lot less crazy. He has some information he's withholding. He mostly investigates alone. But he believes that Yuma will destroy and ruin everything. So a part of him just wants to get rid of Yuma so that they can all enjoy that peace and quiet. But unlike Nagito, Vivia had someone who could pull him back before it was too late. And while he still thinks Yuma is dangerous, he decides to help him anyway. For the sake of the truth. Whatever that may be.

It often feels like Vivia had already solved the mystery, and is just waiting for Yuma's 'answer' or solution to the mystery.

This is the chapter that is gonna BREAK Johne.

Starting to think Yuma studied at the Naruto Talk-No-Jutsu academy considering how he was so ready to work with Vivia after having a knife pulled on him

I'm surprised that Shinigami didn't bring up the potential of Vivia seeing her when he found them.

I think the best part of the Mystery Labyrinths is how the different detectives interact with Shinigami. Can't wait for her to pop a blood vessel over how lazy Vivia is lol

It's nice to see Yuma and Vivia getting along for now, but I still have a feeling he's going to try and gank Shingami at some point

For those wondering, the song that was used to censor Shinigami's Dance to get the Solution Blade is "Trift Shop", but from a Collab by Rizatch here on youtube. I was curious and actually took a while to figure that out because instead of hearing "clothes", I heard something Shinigami is notorious for having and judges Kurumi for not.

Well, this chapter seems to have reached its end real soon, as we finish our investigation, get cornered, and enter the mystery labyrinth. Hmm Vivia's inherent understanding of the mystery labyrinth and how it works is pretty noteworthy, it's pretty clear he has a bit of a special relation with the workings of the mystery labyrinth.

Aesthetic as an adjective means concerned with the appreciation of beauty. Definitely goes with all the flowery words he spouts whenever he wants to deflect from subjects he doesn't want to talk about. If you talk to Vivia in either the electrical room or storage room(can't remember which), he says that while he did intend to stab Yuma, the other detectives would likely have stopped him before he could do it. Wow, going into the Labyrinth changed your clothes Johne. Is that orange Hawaiian shirt your other form?

I wish Yuma looked at his body, game has a beat and he just goes "Is that what my hair looks like?"

Hopefully Yakou isn't related to the culprit in anyway. My heart can't take it anymore.

Yuma is just way too trusting of people and as a detective he shouldn't be especially because anyone could be the culprit. But man that Robot Researcher is definitely creepy in more ways than one. Poor innocent Yuma saw things he shouldn't have! 😧 Also funny how you mentioned Fubuki and said you forgot about her & Yuma's time together ironically so. 😂 Just wanted to also thank you Johne for this playthrough especially during your move. I hope you aren't overworking and very much hope your move goes smoothly!

His voice could have been his forte. In one of Hellaras free time events she kind of says something about fortes which would make something like this maybe be true about Yakou.

So everyone is an acquaintance to Yuma confirmed, there wasn’t any real connection between Yuma and the NDA. He could’ve had real connections with the detectives back on the expressway. That if Zilch was not a suspect before then. (I liked Pucci 😢)

I'm kinda surprised (and bummed) that Fubuki didn't enter the Labyrinth with us along with Vivia. Like, I know she had her chapter and each Detective gets their own time to shine, but could you IMAGINE having a Master Detective duo clearing the Labyrinth? The *banter,* the *POTENTIAL?!* I don't actually know why she wasn't included (or if she actually is still active and because she didn't come with will remember the time-stop this time)--- maybe it was already said that outsiders can't re-enter the Labyrinth even if Yuma shares their powers again and my Fubuki brain just doesn't remember--- but the fact that they felt the need to put emphasis on her powers makes me wonder... Also, probably my last chance to say this, but YAKOU YOU BETTER LIVE, DUDE. I've literally been throwing death flags at this guy--- heck, the moment we met him I was like 'Yeah, you're totally dead, man. Probs chapter 4/5 too cuz those are always the most emotional ones or where a main character dies', but I've seriously grown attached to him and really, *really* want him to make it. He probably won't (hearing his ghost voice really doesn't help), but until it happens I'm clinging to that hope for dear life. To the culprit--- I have literally nobody except for Yomi and Makoto (in by some ungodly whatever-the-opposite-of-a-miracal-is if it ends up somehow being tied to Yakou. I'm more inclined to think it's Yomi, but Makoto is *super* up there. The anonymous person has been writing to the doc for five years apperantly and is some big shot at Amaterasu. I don't think Yakou has any ties with Asunaro (although that picture seems to imply otherwise) and is definitely no big shot so that rules him out. And Makoto, assuming he wasn't lying, has only been in Kanai Ward for three years, so he's probably, maybe, possibly not the culprit because he wouldn't've known the doctor at that point. He's still not cleared of suspicion tho. Where did he go? Why did he truly bring us here? Why sound so threatening when saying Huesca had to be 'dealt with'? Does he truly not know about Homunculi? So many sketchy things he did that don't make him look too great here and with how much he loves Kanai he possibly has a motive. Anyway, think (and honestly hope) it's Yomi. Assuming he's born and raised here, already knowing he's a high rank director, has extreme punishments for those he considers traitors or criminals which also gives him a motive and is literally in the room with us to drop dead I think he fits the bill perfectly. That, and I feel like crap is going to hit the fan as consequence of the culprit dying and since he's the director of the peacekeepers what better way to start chaos than getting rid of him (same applies to Makoto too)? Also, especially after what he did to Yakou I want to see this guy go DOWN. I hope the mystery labyrinth also counts him as the culprit because if only Fink gets killed I'm going to be so upset. That is, if the culprit is actually Yomi. I actually like Lil' Mac and I'm gonna be super upset if he dies. Like, we're already losing a favourite, please don't make it two. Long rant over at last! so yuma somehow got into the WDO book vault and got the book of death hmmmm, anyways moving on I hope the mystery labyrinth tells us how fink got in since I know how he got out but him getting in the critical lab is the big mystery

Vivia's so concerned about their 'peace and quiet' crumbling, but they never really had that to begin with. I feel like Vivia's more dangerous to Shinigami than Yuma. Vivia's been nothing but a disappointment to be honest. Robot Researcher went from being silly to creepy real quick. The person who killed Dr. Huesca probably wasn't Fink the Slaughter Artist. There are three potential suspects here: Yomi, Makoto and Robot Researcher. The guy in the photo is probably a young Yakou. Shinigami and Vivia give the impression they've figure out the case. Could the Professor had been dead the whole time and the person Yuma and company spoke to was someone impersonating him? Anonymous is most likely Yomi, based on the timing on the emails. Five years ago, he was passed over for the role of CEO in favor of Makoto and has been butthurt ever since. I'm surprised Yuma told Yomi his name. Once again, the mystery of Yuma's past comes to the forefront. With everything that happened, it felt like the story forgot about it. I feel like there might be one more case after this one.

I'm gonna be honest, the whole thing with Yuma going to the lab himself didn't really make any sense. And that really didn't make sense with Halara staying behind like????? Heh, Halara is the one who should go there alone if anything, pumping a chest isn't that hard. It's a really odd moment of the game for me.

3:42 As far as the detectives go, Fubuki and Desuhiko are genuine friends with Yuma, no doubt. In fact, both of them are more than willing to enter into a romantic relationship with him as well, lol. Halara and Yakou, arguable, as they are more mentors and caretakers than certified friends. I can, for the time being at least, agree that Vivia is the odd one out, though. And also, to be fair, Yuma doesn't really know Shinigami either. She won't even let him get his memories back or let him tell others about her.
