ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! VERY SOON I WILL BE DOING A FULL COOLANT FLUSH HOW TO VIDEO with Joel at Main Street Cycle on multiple CFMOTO Units to show you all the Details and the professional way to do the Coolant flush... so be watching! We will do one with another CFORCE and with a UFORCE or a ZFORCE! This video was just a quick personal video that I wanted to do on my CFORCE and show you a quick and very basic coolant change. Video coming soon that will be Extremely informative and easy to follow for all of you guys!!!!
@RealTalkPowersports I have a question. When y’all added the coolant back in and you turned the machine on how long did it take before it went through the first heat up cycle and the fan came on for y’all to add more coolant to the radiator? Also is it normal for when the machine is on that top of the radiator to get hot and the top radiator hose to get hot as well?
Man! Thanks again, money saved. I will do just the same to my CF Moto 500 with the same products. Thank you very much your videos are detailed and on point thank you for sharing your knowledge.
One of the first things I do on all my machines is to change the coolant. Who knows how cheap the stuff they put in is. Remember tho... you should always flush the system out with clean water and make sure that is drained well after to avoid mixing different types of coolant. Another great video, quad looks good, ride safe down there!!
@302millerz8 , the problem is, you never really know what they have in the machine. Some coolants don't play well with others. I run peak in all my machines. Just my personal choice. Always worked for me, so I stick with it. I am running my quad like I'm running a rally car in these mountain roads, so it runs hard. Never had a heat issue. I don't do mudding tho. Not my bag. Just be sure to take your time and be thorough, and do it right. Going on 3 years now, never had a bit of trouble from my machine. Plus, buy a grease gun and keep everything cleaned off and lubricated. Even on the 75 to 100 mile summer days, it'll still run like new.
Love the video tutorials. I just purchased 2 of the 2024 CForce 1000’s. Can you show a coolant flush on that model please? I would like to replace the factory coolant day one. Thanks guys!
I was going to treat my system like you guys did in the video. I just purchased Cool-Aide Concentrate and Coolanol. The Cool-Aide concentrate is a glycol-free coolant not truly an additive. The 16oz concentrate bottle is meant to treat up to 4 gallons of water. I can't find any reference to to using the concentrate straight up like that. How did it work out for you? Did you notice any benefit or any side effects to the rich mixture? Just curious before I flush my system - By the way thanks for all the cool CFMOTO video's - I just got a 2023 950 Trail & 2023 600 Touring. The 600 runs too hot - I might be looking to MSC ECU flash to run a little richer and cool it down a bit.
😂 haha we have a bunch in the shop.. but not every guy does at his house so we were trying to just use a few basic tools to do it. When I do the full coolant flush video with Joel we will film how they actually do it at the shop
@@RealTalkPowersports Okay cool, the pliers make that task so much easier everyone should have them! Great content and I love the videos and the team there at MSC!
that hood design is the only thing I don't like about the 500. I broke 2 tabs on mine trying to get it off when it had 20 miles on it. I was not happy.. but other than that. I love my 21 500s
Hey Ian, I will be doing a very Detailed video next week on a FULL coolant flush on multiple units with Joel. Be watching for that one and it will cover Everything in great detail and will be easy to follow.. this video was just a quicky that I filmed before I went on a big ride last weekend and I just wanted to share it.
The Reservoir is very easy to flush out and so is the lines that are connected to it.. Ill show you all of that in the big coolant flush video that I will do next week
