Would an Audi V6 be a good swap candidate for one of these buses?

+Kevin Hornbuckle Could be, I've never played with those, just the 1.8 4 cyl. I'm assuming you'd need an adapter plate. May also want to measure crank distance to top and bottom of engine to check physics fit. I bet it would be a rad swap though.

+Busaru There is one on the shelf at a he local salvage yard. I did not ask them the price. It is a 3.2 V6. Seems like it would be a good swap-in, especially with a 6 speed.

+Kevin Hornbuckle oh wow, that would be really cool. Would you be doing mid engine so the trans rotates the right direction?

+Busaru The sort of natural fit would be onto a Subaru transaxle with the front wheels driven, but in the VW rears become driven Delete the Suby OEM tailshaft. So mid, in that sense.

I called to get the price. They want $1,450.
