Quick & Easy Peanut Butter Bars | Simple and Delicious! 

Lol lol I just made the Lunch Lady Peanut Butter Bars! They are in the oven and my kitchen smells so good!! I baked them on 350• is that what you baked them at?? Can’t wait to try!!! I was a lunch lady many years back and I Miss making the food but not washing all those trays and mixing bowls😆😆😆 utensils!!! I kinda miss it! The kids that were graduating elementary school and not coming back would come in and want me and the ladies sign their autograph books!😆 one boy who always splashed me and I did get him back with the utensil water bucket many times said I was his favorite!!! I remember that to this day! Great memories!!!

I remember eating these in the school cafeteria, when I was younger. Icing I feel is a must.

I actually made these thanks to this video! They came out perfectly and I'm usually awful at baking but it's so simple and hard to screw up. I even used 2 teaspoons of baking powder with regular flour because I didn't have self rising and it still worked perfectly, zero difference. These have been my favorite go-to snack lately, and I tell myself they're kind of healthy because of the protein while I'm pregnant lol. I think I might be going into labor tonight, not sure, so I'm literally having one as an energy boost right now! Hoping it'll give me some fuel for the crazy night I might be about to have. This recipe is really simple to remember and simple to use, and I honestly think this might be something my kids grow up remembering in their childhood. Shoey's peanut butter bars!

If you find it difficult to get the peanut butter off plastic wrap you can spray your measuring cup with a little oil spray. it slides right out

I remember the peanut butter bars back in school with raisins in the bars. I would use less sugar with the raisins if I make a batch. 😊

Love this recipe! Using only ingredients I always have in the house anyway, simple easy peasy measurements, all done by hand. Yes! Making these soon, my husband, 4 year old, and 9 months pregnant me are going to love these!

I did this tonight, I love the outside mixed with a soft cookie texture. I baked mine for 27 minutes because I live in Florida and we have humid weather. GOD BLESS🌻😊👍

Hello just found your channel! This is the same exact peanut butter bar recipe I have used for years...they are super duper yummy! I always bake mine in a cast iron pan though, they get extra chewy the longer they sit! The edges are my absolute favorite! :)

I worked in the lunch room kitchen back in the early 80s and I can tell you these are NOT the peanut butter bars we made. Lunch ladies do not have time to spread dough. We made large vats of pourable batter that we poured onto full baking sheets.
