Yes, speed comes from practice! I do drawing speed drills in my classes and I see so much improvement by the end of the year. I don't think speed is all that important for illustrators, but designers need to work fast, because the sketch is only 1 portion of the whole process.
I just want you to know that you really inspire me!!! You give me better advice than my teachers here. I look foreword to learning what I can from and I love showing your videos off to my classmates and my teachers.💙💙

I'm preparing a book of templates for sale in 2017. As for colored pencils, I never do quick sketches in colored pencils because they're too slow. But I can do a basic fashion illustration tutorial in colored pencils.
