Helpful video. Important to unscrew the screw far enough so the butterfly comes off the splines of the central drive shaft. This means the screw needs to be at least 7mm away from the end of the butterfly. i.e. about 30 turns of the screw driver. It's easier to do this water temperature test and adjustment, if required, just after refitting the unit and before the plastic trim plate parts are added.

Brilliant videos George. Mine removed was a purple 410-01-031 98/27. I struggled to see if it was set on High or Low pressure. At 3 Bar supply, I chose High for the new one. Would you agree? The temp needed resetting, as it wasn't warm enough. I presume that it's because it was a 903.33 replacement purple. The plastic rings were also all slightly different, with a red retaining ring, on the Mira Excel EV. Thanks again. I hope it works OK!

I have a mira BIR and its very hard to turn the water flow control when the water pressure is over 1.5 BAR? I have a flow restrictor fitted in the cold supply and can adjust this higher but then I cant rotate the water control. Any ideas?

I fitted a new 903.33 about a year ago, but the water is always lukewarm, no matter what position the new central butterfly is positioned to. The incoming hot side is hot.
