Apart from having no gear paddles behind the steering wheel, Dan reckons this new Fabia Monte Carlo might just be the sporty hatch worth getting. What do you reckon? Full story here: www.whichcar.com.au/reviews/2023-skoda-fabia-review-monte-carlo-edition-150-australia
I’ve sat in it but yet to drive it. It’s perfect for what I need and pretty good value. Hopefully I’m not too disappointed. Don’t need a really fast car. No one does really 🤷🏼♀️
Does the car wobble when parked at traffic lights if you're turning and a huge truck whizzes past you? I noticed that only once before in a Skoda car (can't remember the model) going back 10-15 years ago...
Not this time around, unfortunately - it was a hard one to pull together logistically and we couldn't include video in the end, which was frustrating for the team, but that's how things go sometimes. - Mike Stevens
On all Skoda you get an ice scraper in the uk but it’s not a good one, they have jumped up so much in price they are well over priced now but we have Dacia that’s took it’s place as the cheaper car brand and is what Skoda was about 7-8 years ago (reliable honest cars)
I wouldn't say it's been the blink of an eye. I remember in around 2015, the Superb 206TSI Sportline was almost the same price as the Passat 206TSI R-Line, and you didn't get much more for the money. - Mike Stevens
Paid reviews are dishonest and the worst. Had a test drive, I'd give it 4 out of 10... It's way too expensive for what it is and it's definitely not a hot hatch, far from it. Boring, sluggish, old borrowed engine... Disappointed big time. Wouldn't waste my money.
