Basically a look at what I currently own and the upcoming tools for CAS. I'm excited about being Earl into the tool company and I've had the opportunity to talk a lot with the large reps from Mafell, Lamello, and Metabo North America. Also giving you a bit of a tease as I am about to start giving a general overview in a one take format. I am in general wanting more people to become familiar with these tools as they are a bit obscure. Please go on the German Matabo website to see the plethora of tools that they make and with more people buying them here the more likely we are to get more types of tools shipped over here! 😍😍

Metabo track saw works well with Bosch track. It’s nice it’s so versatile… like the thin guide. Keeps it running smooth

Sorry. I do much more on Instagram than RU-vid. What tools are you wanting to see and any specific things you want to know. I'll do my best to get some up in the next few weeks. Winter is the best time of year for me as I'm so busy in the summer but I'll try to get you some info

Is the Metabo jigsaw better than the Mafell jigsaw since Mafell is still corded and doesn't have a light?

Definitely not nearly as good as the mafell... But for a cordless option it's rock solid

@@thethoughtfulcarpenter what makes it good? My problem with Jigsaws is these tools tends to cut lean or a undesirable angles. I would like a jigsaw that cut at 90°s against it's blade, clear the cut line, have a light and 100% cordless. Is that the Metabo jigsaw?

@@rickyperkins232 I wish that existed! The mafell does it corded due to the thickness of the blade. No other jigsaw has that capability sadly. The metabo does a descent job but you need to run it on 0 occultation high speed with a new blade and go very slow

i was looking at the metabo impact , but it is only 150 lbs of torque ? is that correct or does it not matter? whats your thoughts

I love my impact. It's a reskinned metabo hpt triple hammer. Has more features which I love

Depends! Mafell if money doesn't matter and metabo if you are going to have other people using it

you forgot the most important thing, very faulty switches in screwdrivers and drills, their constant replacement is annoying

@@thethoughtfulcarpenter German Metabo , in recent models this is happening, to the point that when buying a new switch (and in the only store that sells spare parts), you can no longer pay for them with PayPal. The situation takes place in the UK. You can buy these broken models for pennies now on eBay. Personally, when I switched to Metabo, out of the 8 models I purchased, 4 of them had this problem. when buying a new switch in a store, it works for 2-4 months on average

I have a metabo 18V brushless drill and also impact driver. Both for around 3 years - never had any issues with them. No idea what is happening in UK. I am also in Europe. The impact driver has 10 torque settings plus an option with high speed at the beginning and it slows down when it feels resistance - it is for the roofing screws - with rubber seal to not overdo them. Havent seen such functions in any other brands impact.

Metabo is not a high-end brand like Festool. It is actually in the range of Makita and Bosch Professional (and the cheapest option). I own Makita and Metabo and live in Germany. I am talking with basis here

It is definitely a step above Makita and Bosch. I also own all the above the CAS is what does it for me. Mafell/Lamello/metabo make it a system to contend with

@@thethoughtfulcarpenter metabo is a cheap brand, cheaper than bosch and makita here. i live in germany, its made in china designt in germany. festool and maffel are made in germany there are high end.

Metabo is definitely a step above Makita and Bosch in terms of quality as well as in price. I recently just compared the prices for a fixed selection of tools across most brands. So I don't quite get what these two gentleman here are talking about Metabo as the cheapest brand, maybe they are referring to Metabo from like 15 years ago or so. There are videos online comparing the parts of e.g. a Metabo and a Bosch angle grinder and while the Bosch is not bad, the Metabo is of substantially higher quality. It may not be in the same league as Mafell and Festool, but it's pretty close. A lot of Metabo tools are still made in Germany, especially from the LT and LTX range.
