Here, you have mentioned to practice every day... but in video, you asked to stop for 6 months.. really confusing.. I heard that practicing oil pulling everyday has several oral health benefits... I practicing from Jan 1st but now worried..
@theyogainstituteofficial some people says to drink warm water in the morning without brushing the teeth to detox the body. And some people says to do oil pulling. So how a person will know what is right for their body? And can we do both? But what a person should do first drink warm water or oil pulling? Could you please clarify?
Oil pulling includes two types of procedures. Gandusha- filling the mouth with a large quantity of oil and holding it in for about 10-15 minutes and Kavala - filling the mouth with a relatively smaller quantity of oil, swishing it briskly inside the oral cavity and spitting it out after 2 to 3 minutes.
Dear Hansaji, Thank you so much for all your replies. Very Important Question: Could u please do a video on Autoimmune Illness, especially Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and what asanas, pranayams and yoga mudras can help heal this condition?. Thank you very much🙏🌺🙏
Thank you for this video. I have been oil pulling for about a month, daily in the morning as you have suggested. As far as I was aware it was OK to do every day but here I see you suggest only a week or so & then a 6 month break? Other information sources suggested daily with no break. Please could you advise & explain your methodology? Thank you very much
In the comment below, she says it will affect enamel of the tooth...that's why the break. Also, in another query regarding brushing with Toothpaste, she replies that it's generally recommended to brush after 30 mins of oil pulling so as to avoid enamel damage by brushing...as oil tends to temporarily weaken the enamel....Oil pulling doesn't replace the traditional way of cleaning your teeth with brush. P.S: The by SHE I meant the channel itself..
Please provide the scientific proofs. I could only conclude that oil is effective antibacterial which improves overall oral health. I haven't found anything regarding salivary enzymes or detoxing.
Namaste, Oil pulling activates salivary enzymes which absorb toxins such as chemical toxins, bacterial toxins and environmental toxins from the blood and removed them from the body through the tongue. Thus oil pulling detoxifies and purifies the entire human body
Mam year ago i wear teeth clip so remove 4teeth for teeth clip purpose,,,after some year i have so many cavities so my dentist says fill composite filling... composite filled 4teeth,,2teeth rootcanal done ..now i suffer from teeth problem...mam please suggest how to maintain cavity free teeth.. Can i use coconut oil for oil pulling
My gums used to bleed daily when brushing my teeth, especially day and night. Ever since I started practicing oil pulling in July, I have noticed a clear change in my oral area, there is no-more bleeding in my gums, no bad breath and not even a single cavity when confirmed with my dentist.
Before coming here I tried oil pulling while fasting month Ramzan ..my gums abscessed tooth was not healing since months dentist told extraction I said no .nd only after 3 days 70% swelling shrinked ..
No other video on youtube will tell you to stop doing oil pulling after a week or so and repeat the process after 6 months.... Always find best resources to help you thoroughly. Thank you
She is the right choice to trust due to her Age and experience. This method is like medication and it's an understood thing that one should avoid any sort of medication for a longer period of time.
I started doing it at night before I go to bed because I found that my gums bled mostly when I was sleeping. I would wake up with a bad taste in my mouth add blood in my mouth which was totally disgusting and I didn't really know what to do since I read that the antibiotics or whatever it is they give you is not good for you or you're healing process. I started using castor bean oil so I've been doing it for 4 days and I think I will go for 3 weeks because I do see some healing I don't know what happened or why my gums got that way but I must have weaken my immune system when I caught covid that's what I think even if I use a toothbrush it cuts my gums which is so weird because I never had gum problems before and my mouth was never sore before when I used to brush my teeth. So I'm glad that she said use your finger to get get it out well that will save my gums I'm going to do this prayerfully and hopefully it will heal.
I use Sesame Oil for this. And do it daily for 20 mins. I learned it from @fit tuber. I'm a Srilankan.. but getting alot of benefits from Indian ayurveda❤
Ayurveda is not a copyrighted property of India. It's for all humanity, developed by many ancient scientists of the whole world. Even Sri Lanka has contributed a lot to develop ayurveda in old times.
To put it correctly- Ayurveda for thousands of years is being practiced in India. There are no other countries where it was in practice - maybe in recent times this has come into practice.
Hello mam big fan from Pakistan your whole video means On an empty stomach we should use oil pulling once a day for 15 mins then wash with salty warm water ,after 30minutes can brush with miswak ,do regular for max10 days then stop do repeat this routine after 6 month.pls do confirm it
I've been pulling Cold pressed Coconut oil for about a week now. I'm wanting to stop a carrie that i have developed and to re-mineralize my teeth. I really enjoyed your delightful presentation.
Nice video, thanks! Perfect timing as I've just finished an 8 day water fast today -- now I will do the coconut oil pulling for 1 week for additional cleansing/detox.
I've heard a lot about oil pulling. It's a very healthy practice & can be done on a regular basis without worrying about any sort of side effects. In ayurveda it's recommended not to consume any herbs as a medicine for a longer period of time just to avoid our body getting addicted to such medicinal herbs. But, in the case of oil pulling, we are not consuming anything right. So, I think as we clean our teeth by brushing & take bath to clean our body everyday, it's completely ok to clean our intestines by oil pulling everyday.
Namaskar mam 🙏. Mam, why should we stop doing it after a week for the next 6 months? Are there any side-effects of doing it on a regular basis? Please clear the doubt mam 🙏

Namaste, Yes oil pulling can be done with unfilled cavities, but it's important to do so gently and consult with your dentist to ensure it's safe and beneficial for your specific dental health needs.
Mam you told in this video that after 6 days practice i have to stop it for 6 months. But I heard that oil pulling practice has to be done everyday. Can you please confirm?? What is the actual practice method? I m little confused

Namaste, While mustard oil is commonly used in cooking, it is not typically recommended for oil pulling because it has a strong, pungent flavor and can be harsh for some people. Traditionally, oils like coconut or sesame oil are preferred for oil pulling due to their mild taste and beneficial properties for oral health. If you wish to try mustard oil, make sure it suits your body and doesn’t cause discomfort.
Namaste, Oil pulling can help reduce harmful bacteria in the mouth, which may prevent cavities and support overall oral health. However, it does not directly treat cavities or remineralize teeth; proper dental care is essential for addressing these issues.
@@theyogainstituteofficial Thank you for the reply. Can you please send me research link (or any other medical link confirming the same?) I tried looking online but didn't find anywhere that specifically mentioned that it shouldn't be done everyday. Thank you
@@raajkotwal1In another comment, they said continuous oil pulling can weaken enamel. This is also why you should leave a gap of at least half an hour before brushing after oil pulling.
I have been doing it with mustard oil for many years now. The day I don't do it, don't feel cleanliness of mouth. Is it not okay to use mustard oil? Is it not okay to do regularly with break?
this is a great video. so you are saying beyond just simply being healthy for teeth and gums, it also is helps with many other things? does that include blood pessure? and also brai helath? it sonds like it could also. i see you said you don't necessarly hav eto do it all the time. i have done it 5 days straight 15-20 min/day and wil thorugh tuesday beore i go on a trip out of town for 6 days whre i won't really ahve it but will od it again when i get back. but it almost sounds like you don't need to do it fro a copule months at a time after doing it for 7-10 days striaghtn now in my case i have done iit at night. as i just don't have time to do it in the morning as i am always rushing out the dor but i wait til just before bed and do it, then swith my mouth out with salt water and hten a little bit of regular water. then brush however. i have noticed less sensitivity already
Namaste, oil pulling is usually done on an empty stomach, typically first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything. The idea behind this is that the oil can help draw out toxins that may have accumulated in the mouth overnight.
