Thanks for the vid! I've watched a few other phaser tutorials and those that I've watched say how easy it is to remove the valve covers. I was trying to get mine off, checking multiple times that I got all fasteners off. As you mentioned, it felt like there was a bolt in the middle. Glad you clarified it's the plug tube seals that are the issue.
Thanks for watching! I was removing a set of valve covers on a chrysler 3.6 pentastar the other day and ran into the same thing. They didn't want to come off the plug tubes either.
