I'm super impressed by your efforts. Had to part with my 2010 KH3 Black Sedan with 140K miles that I poured so much care and love into. No place to keep around unfortunately. $800 in gas a month commuting 70 miles each way for work each day 141 total wasn't working out after moving from San Diego to Nevada for work. I love your videos and just makes me miss my baby with Stillen Exhaust and Hotchkis Sways. Please take good care of yours Sir. 👍

Thanks! Where possible, I really like to try to provide unique G37/370 content. However, it is not easy when you are just one guy trying to compete against the world.... so some updates do take some time :)
I know this video is kind of older, but I have a quick question. I have an 09 370z and was curious if you could manipulate the canbus in order to remove certain components. I swapped the engine out and can't remove the factory ecu and gauge cluster because it messes with the start function. Could I "trick" the BCM into thinking those components are still there by sending a signal from the Arduno?
I'm not sure... When you do an engine swap and want to integrate the new engine's ECU/PCM with the existing vehicle CAN bus network, it can require many, many hours or work to understand what each module needs and then provide/convert the needed data.
Testing on my 2011 G37 Sport Sedan has worked perfectly!! The next step is to test on local (Toronto) G37 and 370s to make sure it works as expected. That should start next week.
Thanks for your kind words! The process has been a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it uses the software/hardware of the 2010+ navigation units, so it is required. :(

For the "GTR gauges" to work, it requires the 2010+ navigation unit. I hope I didn't get mixed up and give you a different answer before. In a few weeks, I will be recording the CAN bus of a 09 G37 Coupe, to see if it has the needed data. I know a few folks who have updated their 07-09 navigation systems to 2010 or newer, and they want t to know if this will work.
