most ATF USE RED colour fluid on nissan/infiniti , but manual they use oil , gear oil 75w85GL5? i knew the differential gear oil use 80w90 if i remember it right. very strange and odd
Hi sir, do you still run your tires as square set? If so, may I know the tire size? I also wonder if front tire’s size gets wider than 235 or 245, wouldn’t it give more stress to the steering system and make steering wheel heavier?
I was wondering about doing this as well. I want to start changing my own transmission oil and fuel filters on my Volvo XC90. Already have two 13K lbs ramps from Canadian tire, just have to get 2 more. Always use the parking brake and use safety stands.
Very very clear instructions and well made video, thank you. I managed to activate the tire pressure menu, but I'm getting ** values even after driving for a good hour. I have a 2011 370z GT, UK model. Do you have any idea why I can't get any pressure values to show? I should get a warning if the TPMS sensors are not transmitting, right?
Hey @MotorvateDIY, I had just watched this a few days ago trying to get some ideas on how to tackle a project for my 2011 g37 and wanted to know if I could dm you so I could pick your brain about a couple things can bus/cluster related??
I love your videos; they'e a great help. I'm upgrading the rotors and pads on my 370z sport to the Akebono two-piece lightweight rotors and street performance G-Loc pads. You're a very good teacher.
Moving that throttle body blade with your hand or finger not a good idea. You could damage the motor or offset the calibration of the butterfly And have to figure out how to reset or calibrate the butterfly. It's best to remove the throttle body from the car as not to interfere with the electronics If you want to clean both sides. For those wanting to do this job please look at other videos this one can cause you a problem.
I need some advice. I followed this general flow on my 2003 G35 Sedan 6MT (all stock/original) with 90K miles, replacing my rear rotors, pads, slide pins and brake hoses. I finished up with a 2-person brake bleeding at all four wheels, being careful to keep the brake flued reservoir filled with DOT3 Nissan brake fluid as we were going along. I had my wife doing the brake pedal pumping -- I think she might have gotten a bit aggressive with the amount of force on the pedal. While bleeding the second wheel, she said "braking seems to be getting easier" and we continued on to bleed the four calipers. After bleeding was done and I topped off the brake fluid reservoir, I started the car and depressed the brake pedal to seat the new pads. I noticed there was very little brake resistance and the pedal went to the floor! Uggh. What do you think may have gone wrong? Might my wife's aggressive braking during bleed operation have blown the master cylinder?! Or brake booster??
OMG!!! I recently performed each step within this tutorial and "After throttle body cleaning" video and worked amazingly well. My 2014 Q60 coupe (g37 bodystyle) runs like a new car with smooth acceleration. I also, cleaned my MAF sensors. The car is fast again! Thanks so much!
Got one in my 2019 Mazda3 hatchback. If it gained 7whp, it's worth the 50 bucks. The noise alone is worth it because the Mazda3 is engine bay is so insulated. Cork Sport sells an intake system for $200. It's a short ram which draws in hot air and makes 5-7whp. I bet the K&N with the stock box is just as good or even better since it draws in colder outside air.
how long does it take for the epoxy to dry? Living in arizona has made stuff take much longer to dry (rearview mirror fell off, I'm using a temp mirror for a week while I wait)
Im sorry for asking, but i have not raised my 6MT sedan on a lift yet and don't know what stock cats look like. Are these stock cats? and if so do you recommend any aftermarket cats? I do not like the rasp or loud just the deep VQ tone. Thanks!
I've been researching on options to make these sensors send signals via bluetooth to an indash head unit. The biggest issue I'm having is that my car is a 1995 so pre-obd2 and it's primarily stock. I just wanna be able to monitor the very sensors you mentioned in the video. Looking forward to see how you bluetooth sensor server turns out.
Hello! I wanted to get your insight on an infiniti g37x that we have. Not sure what to do with it. Weve been using 87 fuel in the car when we were supposed to use 89 and now at 238k, the suspension is really hard. Is there any way we can clean up the carbon deposits in the car? Also the manual and digital gauge is all messed up. When we fill the gas the needle goes to the top and then when it gets to the half way point it just starts dropping quickly from there and the gas runs out quickly. I just fill up the gas at the half way mark. Is it better to sell the car or do repairs on this?
Hopefully the testing is going well I’ve been hopping back on your channel since this video posted hoping to see updates very soon this product is going to a great addition to the G community. Best of luck
hi. have you tried reading the windows rollup packets? i want to make windows up automatically and sunroof close when the car is closed. just started my journey in learning this for q50. maybe your experience will tell me that it is impossible and i am doing it in vain. any advice will be useful
Hey man so I connected the hose to the valve and it snapped of so I wasn’t able to bleed it any tips on how to remove the remaining part of the screw and also what size or where I can order a new valve bleeder
I’m considering purchasing a G37 and have been researching all the common issues/fixes with these cars. This was a concerning and potentially expensive fix. Thank you! Excellent video no bs and informative. 👍👍
Not smart to cut away material from composite ramps… you compromise the integrity of the load capacity… Big risk when you are getting underneath the car
Im going to use this method on my F10 rear diff bushes! Was thinking of some sort of hard silicone to put in there, but epoxy sounds better. Not one indy garage in my area would undertake replacing these bushes, BMW quotes around £900 and I will be getting rid of the car in a couple years. This seems like a perfect solution. Thanks for the video dude!
