Whatever makes a person happy, that is what they should pursue. Have enjoyed your truck build videos. I'm now retired out of trucking myself, and I'm building an 82 squarebody with a 6.0. Thanks for all the great info, have really enjoyed your videos. Nice watching a straight forward, honest down to earth person. Take care. PS, I still keep my old W900 Kenworth around to go haul my next project home with.
40 years longhaul. Retired now. It was a hard life, but if you can not let the daily stress get to you, you’ll be much happier at the end of the day. The best thing I ever did was buy my own truck. 30 years as an owner operator.
Drove for 22 years OTR sucks you miss so much of your families lives. The money sounds good on paper but rarely does it pan out. Every company says 3k miles a week and trust me that isn't consistent. Good luck in your job and really pray about going otr.
My kids are grown. OTR is happening. Already prayed about it. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since a kid. My family drives trucks so I know a lil about it. I’ve already done a lil OTR and I loved it. I’m from a town of 1700 people. It’s time for my wife and I to see the outside of it a lil lol
Hey Lonnie I don’t know if you remember me man but when you were building your square body, I was also talking to Tajar steelworks at same time still building mine it’s still just a roller ;( but sooon
