@@Mybernette Thank you for replying. I do have subtitles on, but if there are no words, there is nothing to subtitle. I understand the reason behind the choice to not use words, but it makes videos useless for people like me who need some words. Most media players are capable of translation w/subtitles. I can't be the only person on this Earth in need of words ... Thank you for the update information.

BAD IDEA..........hire someone to talk in your videos. just watching is the same is trying to decipher your awful symbols......useless@@Mybernette

We're sorry you're not getting any support. It is not so easy to give an exact value for the thread tension as this depends on the fabric, batting (quilt sandwich) and thread that is used. You are right that 40 is the default setting and we recommend to start sewing with this setting. Then you check the stitch on both sides. If the lower thread is visible on the top, you have to lower the tension, and if the top thread is visible on the bottom, you have to increase the tension. We would recommend stitching first on a test piece and the various tension settings and select which works the best. We hope this will help you.
