Is it possible you can add a pros and cons section at the beginning for the plane you're flying? As a newer player, it's a struggle to figure out every strength and weakness of each plane. It's mindboggling and impressive how you know every plane and what to do against them.

Btw defyn on the lastest updates all missiles sensitivity to flares were upped, the r60s sensitivity went up 2.5 times all aim9D/j/E and p were also upped but by 2x this includes magic1. The aim9G was not affected by this change making it the most effective missile against flares in games, laughs in tea

Haha, I absolutely adore how you intentionally used the R-60 to shoot down the Skyflash, I've done it before accidentally but I didn't think it reliable enough for an actual tactic

Pretty ridiculous that we dont have seperate buttons for chaff and flare. I hate how i have to drop chaff when i want to flare and vice versa.

I think you might have noticed but the ¨manual¨ mode of the MiG 23 wings is actually a ¨semi-automatic¨ mode This means that the wings will retract automatically just enough not to break, with this semi-automatic mode you can have the wings almost fully extended between mach 1.01-0.98, with the wings extended at this high speeds you can pull up to 13Gs in the MiG23M. I've spaded the MLD yesterday and I have to say; I believe it's the best jet in the game as of now. Its climbrate and acceleration are pretty much unmatched, and it can reach over Mach 1.2 on the deck with a full load out. (Although it does overspeed if you keep burner on past that). The maneuverability has also been tremendously enhanced from the MiG-23M. I don't feel as if though I have to two-circle rate fight any aircraft that I get into a 1 on 1 engagement with. On low fuel, the MLD turns as well as a spitfire; I've had instances where I've pulled 16G with it, and then a sustained 14G turn. The R-24R is just an amazing missile all around. With the upgraded radar from the MiG-23M, you can get a radar lock from pretty much any altitude, depending on where your target is flying. The tracking period where the missile flies straight before maneuvering might as well not exist because it's so short. Its range is excellent as well, making it possible to get 15 km frontal-aspect missile kills. With that said, I also believe that the US needs a new top tier jet, as the F-4E is just inherently completely inferior to the MLD and most of the other top Phantom variants. I don't know how what to say about the other nations' top tiers because I haven't played them, but I don't think the F-4E is good enough anymore. (MLD is a 1980's variant keep in mind)

You should try toying with the IRST modes, it makes being sneaky a lot easier as you dont spike the rwr and can take some crazy bore sight shots and the in my experience i notice i can lock on r24Ts at longer ranges when i have an IRST lock, and also has an ACM mode the irst sensor. Love this plane

You can rip the wings maneuvering above 885 kilometers per hour. This is ~550 miles per hour. You weren't sure the exact number in the video, thought I'd leave that here. Putting the wings all the way forward isn't recommended above that speed (it also won't let you).

Played this thing alot yesterday, and I've noticed a stark difference with the 23M in that you actually bleed alot more speed. The M lingers at over 600kph in a sustained turnfight, but the MLD pulls so hard, it actually bleeds speed well down into the 500kph range. Neg-G or whatever to retain the same speed as the M during a turn however? Insanity. Pure and complete insanity. 800-850kph and you turn like a draken

Apparently all missiles got their sensitivity to flares increased by quite a bit. What are your thoughts?

Hey DEFYN, I found out that AIM-7E(first one)has changed G-turn up to 25G, and it seems to really work so. Yep, it doesn't turn first 2-3 seconds, but I guess that makes this missile better for BVR. Caz 7E2 will pull more G before 7E, so notching is more easier

By the time I got my R-24 Missiles.. I have 2 or 3 kills per game in my Mig-23MLD.. This plane is so damn dominant, and now im having 3/1 K/D ratio in my Mig-23MLD already with 70% win rate.. I use the R-24R because it is more efficient than the R-24T because the T can be disrupted by the flares while the R can't be disrupted much by the chaff. US really needs to have either the F-20 Tigershark or the F-14A Tomcat.. And give the MLD R-27 and R-73 Missiles to counter the AIM-9L, AIM-120 and AIM-54. F-14A 1972 F-14B 1982 Mig-23MLD 1983 F-20 Tigershark 1982

One thing I will always stand by in terms of binds is countermeasures to MMB + Mouse Wheel Down, as it both cuts afterburner (which, if you scroll down while holding throttle up, it holds you at 100%, not above, not below) and allows you to dump a ton of flares, if needed.

If you are using your radar in this video, how are they not getting a ping on their rwr? Is it because ur r24 are ir missles? Also, wouldnt using ur radar to lock an enemy still let them know you are there so they flare and chaff ur missles?

the mig23 did get some upgrades over the 2 years you shoud try it now mabye show some new tactics in the new toptier

When you said you where warming a missile to shoot down his skyflash it was a f4e locking you so it was only an upgraded sparrow, never had an issue with them i know theyre supposed to be a copy pasta skyflash but my fg 1 eats f4es up and none get a missile off before my skyflash nails them, might be the PD but ive had same results when i boom up to 7-8km.
