Thought it was gonna be way worse, maybe I got lucky. its been a few days since the last update at the time of uploading this and it's been great. Sleep has been completely normal (in fact better than when I was on Kratom) I wake up and feel actually refreshed and rested, not just in a withdrawal state from not having dosed since before bed. The first thing I think about in the morning is no longer putting something in my stomach so I can take my dose. I can get right to work feeling focused and clear headed. Don't take this stuff it's not worth it. Don't listen to what anyone says it's very easy to get addicted too and its not worth the risk.

Thank you, I just found your channel, verry interesting. I dosed down for a couple months and then 10 days ago I quit. I started dosing down at around 5.3 grams a dose. It took a couple months to reach 2.4 grams 7 hours apart three times a day for five weeks, and then I quit, you are right about the restless leg syndrome, it wasn't that bad because of the dosing down to that point for me. We are all different, and the quality of the kratom was the cheapest I could find online, that was not a good quality. Give it a few days and you should feel good, give it ten days it will feel great. Great channel you have, big thumbs up!

I took kratom for 3 years until my doctor told me to stop because of heart complications. I’m glad I stopped I miss it every morning when I would mix It in my coffee but appreciate my mental fortitude at night before bed. They need more warnings I was told it was a safe coffee alternative

It won't kill you and it's not nonaddicting but it's relatively harmless far as this stuff goes. That said. This is, 1:26 says it best this is the problem with real opioids too, even coffee for me. It just sneaks up on you. The problem is you don't even know it. For me the biggest problem was I was just outright abusing it, not even using I mean I's straight out abusing the hell out of it every single day for a few months and so it made me really arrogant and cocky when I walked away like it was nothing, some restless legs that's it. But it SUCKED when you are years into it. I would say this, you should probably just taper down directly. IF you are not an alcoholic or benzo addict, you can use therapeutic doses to help the WDs and restless legs, but I'd strongly discourage using harder addictive drugs like alcohol and benzos to ease something more benign as kratom and also it's crazy to use Suboxone. I mean. It's quitting caffeine with Dexedrine basically. But, you can use like one 8mg tab cut into 1mg pieces to help ease, there are numerous reasons not to do this including binding affinities, half life, precipitated withdrawals etc. I found out the hard way, that a couple months I can get away with it. A couple years not so much. You'll be a year deep before you realize you're withdrawing at work.

Thanks for your video man! I’ve been taking kratom for about 2 years now.. and the good effects are pretty much gone.. just numb to everything, and we’re talking 13-20 gpd. Feels like it has also made my anxiety worse, and kinda like I’m not in reality. Just in my own little kratom bubble.. I’m ready to get off I feel kratom is stopping me from progressing, I’m at a standstill with it.

Man you can do this! I was around 30-40 gpd and possibly more because I stopped weighing it! I was running through a kilo of kratom a month!!! The side effects was horrible on that amount! I still use kratom but only 1-3 times a week and around 1-5 gpd! Careful this stuff gets out of hand quickly
@Nobluffbuff

Don't take this personal when I say this, it blows my mind to hear how much of this stuff people end up taking daily. I've taken Kratom for my muscular dystrophy, since I discovered it a few years back. Even I won't take exuberant amounts of this stuff. I don't think it stops pain, but it does well to inhibit the feeling of being physically uncomfortable (especially to allow for sleep). I'm afraid to ever get into the opioid medication trap, so I thank God for kratom. Good on you for looking after your health and getting out of the trap of taking too much of this stuff....I believe it can be a problem for so many people.

Had both arms and legs broken 16 years ago. There is nothing that touches my pain other than Kratom. Like within twenty mins of taking, I can breathe a sigh of relief. I hope no one ever takes away my ability to live a normal life.
@MilesStoner
@MilesStoner 3 месяца назад
I agree. I used to pop hydrocodone every day for 10 years, like 5-6 a day. And the only thing that helped me was Kratom. But it doesn't kill the pain it just kinda takes away the body aches enough for me to not desire to take pharmakia. I take a tablespoon in hot water as needed. It never was addictive because it makes you feel worse if you take too much. It is a plant. God gave us this plant for this reason. It binds some of the same receptors in your brain as pain meds. I take Green Maeng Da. It's helped save me from pain pills, but only when I came to the Lord was I able to not need anything. I still take it randomly when my body aches get too much. I have restless leg syndrome, RLS is characterized by an irresistible urge to move the legs, arms, or, less commonly, other body parts, usually accompanied by paresthesias, often causing difficulty falling asleep and/or repeated nocturnal awakenings.
@Granted777
@Granted777 4 месяца назад
I did it for about a year while I was working from home. When I quit cold turkey I got restless legs when I tried to sleep and electric shocks in my nerves when I would move. It actually sucks to quit but it is totally worth it. Being 100% sober is way stronger than relying on any substance. You will become a much better version of yourself

Kratom is a partial mu agonist and partial antagonist that blocks other opioids similar to what suboxone does. I’ve been taking kratom since 2016 everyday once or twice a day. I think the key is reliable vendors, labs, and don’t take more than 10 grams a day you can split 3.3 g 3 X or 4-5 grams 2 times a day at one time I was taking 15 g a day and I feel waaay better on 10 or 5g a day and I’m autistic about weighing every single dose. I take it for ptsd. I’ve done ketamine treatments, emdr, years of therapy and I only get relief 12 hours a day relief from the two kratom doses. I’ve literally had and done everything to rid ptsd from this body and only kratom has helped. I completely quit drinking alcohol by using kratom. I’ve not had a single thought of hurting myself or the severe symptoms since 2016. Congrats for having a strong mind man. Glad you’re able to use good cessation.

Yeah I feel amazing now man. It’s funny, sometimes I catch myself just thinking “man, I used to think this sober feeling was me getting high” 😂 I truthfully just feel happier. It’s not a fabricated, short lived, dose-dependent happy either. It’s a REAL and natural happiness, and really, it’s joy. The emotions feel so much more real. And because my feelings aren’t dependent upon a drug it just makes me feel even happier and cleaner too. Just because it helped me, I’d suggest using some caffeine if you don’t already to help blunt the withdrawals a bit. Definitely keep me updated here on how it goes. plus others that watch this might be able to take something from your experience as well. God bless you man I wish you the best!

@@kellen_hendrix man I remember that feeling so well…I quit successfully in 2019, and was about 6, 6.5 months free when covid hit and sparked a relapse in me. I just said fuck it if my loved ones are gonna die by some stupid bioweapon, I want to numb myself out as much as possible. But man at 6 months, I felt happier than I did even before Kratom. Genuine happiness, not an up and down rollercoaster constructed by pharmacological methods. Unfortunately, multiple failed quits and the severe pain that came with each has really made quitting difficult. I used to be excited in a weird way to embrace the pain, see it as progress, and while I know that is still true, it’s much more difficult to feel anything positive at all. I’m hangin in tho. Thanks for the insights dude!

Exercise will get you through most things especially if done on a daily basis/consistently. I know what it's like to have sleep issues, and drugs will really mess that up. Yeah lol some of these people are at like 5g a day and think they're on something or have never even done it consistently. And they think it's just an innocent plant. Opium is also a plant and it destroyed a whole nation. Kratom is incredibly strong and everyone who's above 25gpd+ knows that. Not only that but kratom has so many different alkaloids and mechanism of action that it really feels like half a psychiatric medicine and a moderate addictive opioid. If you are self-treating problems with it it's even harder to quit as there is little consequences that are glaringly obvious, it requires some serious willpower.

Been sober for around 9* years now... minus a self-destructive two week bender after a painful breakup that felt like the end of the world...the breakup was not the end ... the leap from sobriety back into the jaws of the abyss almost was. Never experienced anything more daunting, harrowing, painful, frightening, humbling and actually life-threatening than alcohol withdrawal. It is not a contest though. If kratom is controlling you, throw that beast into the pit and chain it up. My booze balrog still awaits me if I ever am so careless as to think it is no longer a threat and I give it's chains slack .Smoke weed. That's the move.
