Welcome to It's OK to talk!
Here we talk about lots of interesting things.. (To me, anyway)
These things can include addiction to alcohol and binge drinking, marijuana/cannabis/weed addiction, addiction to sugar, processed food and binge eating, addiction to pornography and social media, dealing with depression, anxiety and panic attacks, men's mental health, personal accountability, the benefits of physical exercise and maintaining a healthy diet, challenging yourself daily both physically and mentally and much, much more.
In this particular video I talk about quitting alcohol for 90 days.

Don't be so hard on yourself Jacob. So you relapsed. It happens. It's part of the recovery. Keep your head up and keep going. Alcohol is absolutely everywhere and is one of the most destructive drugs to be addicted to. You're not alone and you're loved!❤Hang in there! Never give up! Keep on fighting the monster! Stay strong everyone!❤👋💪

Do what I did, switch to evening gym sessions, by the time you're out its pretty late and you feel great especially if you finish on some cardio.

This is actually some great advice man. While I was unemployed, such as in this video, that was too hard. Now that I have employment, it is a fantastic way to end the day and go home feeling buzzed. Currently I am finishing my sessions with cardio. Great call mate :)

If you commit to quit for good, it is much easier.

I have heard multiple times now a quote that has stuck with me. "Moderation is hell". I tend to agree!

Thanks for sharing mate. At this point I couldn't even think straight, let alone read. But an audiobook might be ok.

Day 1 is always a bitch bro, especially when you smash yourself the night before. I would HIGHLY recommend that you get some thiamine and take 300 mgs every day for at least a month. It will significantly help your body to recover. When I was in the ICU going through delirium tremins, I was given IV thiamine every 4 hours.

have you thought of getting back on Antabuse? Are you still looking for a 5-9 job?

Haven't even considered it to be honest. I couldn't trust myself. Also, I would not feel completely free if I was still taking some form of medication to control myself. My time with antabuse is done, but I will always be comfortable to offer it as a possible solution to someone else struggling.
