Excellent work. I love the QueNexus for what it is, I'm a little bummed because mine came a little bit messed up, some keys retrigger others and there is a faint light on the top F# note. The sequencer is incredible for what it is, very fun. The editor is a nightmare, and it's shocking they haven't put out any tutorial videos on it, as I'd like to control CV pitch with tilt for vibrato but can never get the settings right.
Thanks Ancaja - agree I love the two I have and lucky that both are in good condition after a few years and as I bought both used (both were sticky) I cleaned them up, udpated the firmware recently and they do a great job of CV and now midi sequencing, simultaneously. Also yes, the editor is circa 1990s, pretty ancient, I used to use the tilt but as it doesn't return to centre (you have to take your finger off and retrigger it), pretty useless for natural vib or bend
@@GaryHayes I think I need to send mine back because of that F note, but I do really love it for both CV and MIDI. I sort of wish they added another axis for side to side motion instead of the tilt. Interestingly enough I have gotten MPE vibrato stuff to work but only with a select few plugins (stock Ableton ones). Btw, I listened to your video probably 4 times last night, really inspired me to try out some phasing loop stuff and I had a blast. Cheers
@@GaryHayes I got a second and I always just have it ready. I never actually use it. I might be doing something wrong but I find the Disting Ex only can pick up all MIDI channels or 1-3. So in the Poly FM mode I can use all 3 and then I have nothing for the other EX to do. I think, well I might need a delay....but then I use my Nautilus, etc. I'm sure I could better incorporate it somewhere.
