You can wear a hijab on your own will or any other clothing if its part of your culture don't mix it with the quran law, quran says cover your self with a vail from neck to ankles meaning don't walk around naked it doesn't tell you what colour or design to wear it's just telling you not be naked.
Well not to be provocative and attention catching of it is then it defeats the reason to cover And face is the most attention catching second to body Thats why covering the face I have seen women in hijab but just because their face was attractive it becomes eye catching And I peeked at them then their bodies So you get it now
@@abc-bh3xn be happy I and millions of men around if the men are religious and follow the laws Otherwise nothing is stopping us from doing what Russians did to Germans women in ww2 go read about
@@abc-bh3xn and one more thing if you are gonna try to provocate me then be prepared I will applying my own humanistic rule to women And mind you millions of men happily will do that If you girls are gonna not follow them why should men
Thanks for covering this topic just the way i see it: so sad and reveling of the shallowness of our times, that a relatively minor issue as dress code has been promoted, by both Islam haters and many Muslims, to kind of represent the essence of our deen.
Salam brother could you do Dua for me because I am struggling on my manzil subki and subak. I don’t want anything to become weak for me. I want to have a strong memory and everything to become solid so I don’t lose my track and read slower. Make everything in hifz class become strong for me. And remove problems hard relief and difficulties and also remove fear from my heart and make me remember every letter, word and verse properly so I get my manzil, subki and subak ready on time. Get more confidence and not be scared if I read wrong but also forgive my sins, mistakes and errors
Hi Brother, I hope you beat your struggle and may Allah be with you. I would advise you to seek refuge by Allah and not ask other people for dua. Doing so may be shirk. This is surely in your best interest, as god doesn't want us to put others beside him. In my opinion, memorizing the Qur'an is quite an achievement, but is not something mandatory. I think, reading it slowly, and really trying to understand it, is what god would want for us. You will spend your lifetime studying the Qu'ran, do not be too eager. Of course, I cannot speak for god, just try to answer this exact question by reading the Quran. And I am sure all of your worries will go away, because you will surely find an answer, if you really look for it and try to understand it.
If someone can go to hell for being a schmuck for wearing one shoe, I am getting a 1st class ticket there as I sometimes wear socks and crocks. Thanks so much for the laugh!!!
Everything Allah commands is important. And in the Bible headcovering is mentioned clearly as a commandment for women and we know that the Bible and Torah are from Allah. Men are attracted to women more than women are attracted to men (which also proves their obsession with googling about muslim women dress code while they are men) which for me proves the important of the verse in the Quran where it says the wives, daughters and believeing women should cover themselves to not be harassed. Even if for exempel praying the 5 prayers can be seen as more important, it still is important to follow all of Allahs commands.
Peace - the only place in the Bible that explicitly states for women to cover their hair is in the writings of Paul that were added to the New Testament (Corinthians 11:2-16). Paul was not a prophet or messenger and was satanically inspired as he opposed the Torah and the teachings of Jesus.
@@QuranTalk Okay I did not know that, but why did Maria wear a scarf over her head? The scarf is protecting us women from being harassed and empowering us women. If we only cover our chest we will not be looked at as believing and virtuous women?
Peace. As a woman, don't fabricate lies against us. Allah told us BOTH to lower our gaze. You have no idea what women say behind closed doors. Alot of women are worse than men but better at hiding it.
Before watching this video, and only using my own judgement, I think the verses that mention modesty, and covering that which is obvious, refers to the shape of both mature men and women. Which makes more sense than just hair. The order of physical cues that attract us to a partner, doesn't have hair as most people's top answer I would be willing to bet, though I could be wrong. Both men and women should dress modestly not displaying the goods, the cookies, and mitigating as best you can what you can't easily conceal with attire. Another thing you get most of your vitamin d through skin exposure, particularly the arms, just saying.
look, jooz wear the "bee outfit" just as the christians did at one point and Muslims carried the tradition on, BUT Mary was depicted without her face covered so the FACE covering isnt necessary, im NOT a hijabi I grew up sunni fasted at 5 and wore hijab to school then took it off as I grew up into my own and realised im not young kid anymore I cant take ofr hijab when I felt like it so I took it off completely, so im not some niqabi or hijabi trying to make a case here im just going by what God preserved through history, the standing bowing and head on the floor prayers are consistent with earliest Christians how they still pray today in ethiopia and the Ethiopian jews probably had similar movements the stand, bow, head on the floor movements seem to be consistent throughout history so I can't deviate from that is multiple prophets advised mankind to pray that way because GOD wants us to pray that way, we can't deviate from the norm.
I once read a hadith in the sera of ibn hisham where the messenger of allah told asma, his sister in law, that when a woman reach puberty only her hands and face should be seen, and all the rest must be covered. can you elaborate on that?
You make such valuable points re Hadith. Since we should follow only Quran, however, the dress code cannot be diminished. It IS in there. Also, the khimar being pulled over the woman's bosoms indicate the covering was first on the head, or there would be no covering to mention. Who are we to diminish what words Allah spoke? They are all valuable. Later, the Quran discusses numerous other dress code details to help the women not be molested. I find ALL of Allah's words valuable. Who freaking cares about the Hadith. Hadith arguments cannot invalidate the Quran.
Indeed brother but khimar, simply means a covering, the word رأس - ras is not found in the verse, it just simply tells the people to draw their covers over their chest :)
@@DaZzeRGaming precisely. I am a sister, however--not a brother. As for those khimars--where WERE they exactly? By all means, we should use our God given intellects, too. Let's not twist the Quran by weaving logical details OUT. So you may use the Quran to the letter of the law--but then you run the risk of missing it's quantum applications.
@@aumayocandesci my apologies! regarding the verse on the khimar, no head is mentioned which means it’s not compulsory to cover the head, I have nothing against covering the head it’s just not found in the Quran, a khimar is basically a cover, for example your clothes act as a khimar, a table cloth could act as a khimar as it covers the table etc, no where mentioned that it refers to covering the head :)
I believe in following the Quran alone. However, I don't support dismantling the living traditions of Islam. Women wearing the hijab is a good thing. I don't think that Muslim women should abandon wearing the hijab. Those women who don't wear the hijab, they have their right to do so. However, don't impose their choice on women who choose to wear the hijab.
It's supported by cultures throughout the world until the middle of the last century. Women in England until the 20s were covered head to toe including head dress
@@goodman_1955 what does throughout the world mean? Arab or parts of europe? What about asia, east, africa, latin america where they did not cover? Arabs does not represent the world. Don't make generalized statements
He is just saying its not a religious thing its actually traditional. If someone is wearing it then its good. And if someone is not wearing it then its good for them as well. Inforcing such rules which is not from God is tyrrany. One needs to avoid it. By the way personal opinions and inforcing it on others is not a good thing but a tyrrany even if its good for them.
Its because most people are simplicit The muslims make that true reilgion followers for women do that More important issues i researched and discovered lies in islam Lies many about mohamed that 1.he is of ishmael 3.he is best of allahs creation 4.was illiterate 5.went to heaven brought 5 prayers 6.performed miracles 7.split the moon 8.met sngel called gabriel in a cave 9.brought shariah 10.use shahadah adding mohamed to allah
You are right..The truth is our salvation to The Creator is most important. The hijab issues should not be a barrier to non Moslems to know their Creator. The our last breath with Shahada and with tranquility and full submissions to our Creator that He promised to invite us to His Heaven afterlife on earth.
So if I say cover your belly with your shirt, does it mean you don't need to wear a shirt and your breast can be uncovered? We are for Qur'an only because hadeeth is obviously false but one shouldn't try to misuse the Qur'an for false ideas. The Qur'an is clear that a muslimah has to cover her decoration and her entire body. The Ayah with the chumur (veils) is also clear in covering their heads.
If I say cover your cup with a tissue does that mean you can't use a lid? Your analogy doesn't make sense here unfortunately. Allah says cover adornment EXCEPT WHAT'S SHOWN
@enfpgirl The analogy hits the target precisely. What u asked about is a different subject, but if you like, cover yourself with a lid. إلا ما ظهر منها doesn't mean "except what is shown" Literally it means "except what showed up of it/would show up of it" or "appeared of it/would appear of it." It refers to that, which would show up unintentionally, not deliberately of the زينة decoration. By the way: زينة which I translated as decoration is not the same as حليّ which would be jewelry, be it gold or silver. Zeenah (زينة) includes anything that serves as decoration, like the head hair.
Ps You should change the picture. It sends dangerous signals. Please keep being serious, not for your own sake but for the sake of the path of the noble Qur'an
Brother freedom of dress should not corrupt society. Forced decent dresscodes are better than a society that has the freedom to dress immoral. I am a Quran only Muslim. However, I don't agree with the brother's opinion regarding the hijab and modest dress.
yes , there should be a normative modesty for both men and women. this is what i'm afraid from the "Quranist" who are deficient in following the Qur'an.
well agreed, they always tend to discard culture all together. Without hijab, we'd simply look like an everyday kafir today. Allah SWT knows best. Salam
@@peace_seeker5545what happens when u force people u get mass apostasy, it’s not healthy for the society yes serious crimes should be punished not wearing a head cover does fall into a dangerous crime
You lost me when you said the requirement of masks during covid was "tyranny". We were trying desperately to fight a pandemic and slow the spread of a disease that was filling up hospitals past their capacity to treat people, leaving many to die from respiratory issues. I'm disappointed.
Now that lung infections are rampant maybe consider. There were better ways to fight spread of disease than throw your used masks into the street, re-use them after 20 mins, handle them and put them on restaurant tables. A surgeon uses them not to breath bacteria into an open wound, we would use them to re inhale our own poison.
