In this video, learn how I drew from my experience in Close Quarter Tactics to achieve the elements of surprise, speed and violence. Understand some of the principles I’ve applied in order to gain angles in a structure or barrier while maximizing cover and concealment. In Close Quarters Battle (CQB) it’s about gaining the advantage over the situation by applying angles, interlocking firepower, speed and stealth to the threat. Civilians can also employ these tactics for home defense. Keep an open mind and draw out the skills that is useful to your life.
Tu Lam (Ret. Special Forces- Green Beret) is a professional tactics and weapons expert with over 22.9 years of Special Operations experience. The training represented on these training modules are the tip of the spear in close quarters combat. Tu Lam has personally researched different forms of tactics used by Special Operations forces from around the world to enhance his operational abilities while deployed to hostile areas. These forms are lethal and should be performed with extreme caution. Failure to do so can result in serious injuries or death. Treat your blade with the same respect as a firearm. I can agree with that. Our unit was fortunate, and our second deployment we were broken down to squads that deployed with specific SF ODA's. We did our pre-deployment train up with them, and my mind was blown by the absolute knowledge they bestowed upon us. Regular infantry training these days, at least before I got out, was just based more on the Afghanistan type of environment than urban/iraq so we just did battle drills in the woods, just practicing fire team/squad/platoon maneuvering and movement formations. Budget was severely lacking too with Obama so most of our room clearing training at our unit was done with good old plywood and 2x4s, or even better the glass house training with the white tape lmao.

I'm a civilian as well. But clearly this sounds like good advice that actually works. Can be applicable in a home defence situation...assuming many factors are in our favour. (e.g. you live alone...don't have family or pets to worry about...waking up from deep sleep..after/if you are able to reach for your firearm...etc.) This video was educational. "Home Defence"? I doubt will ever work in our favour. So these tips...perfect for LEO/military teams....Nice to see the US military didn't keep certain races from joining and being a part of elite teams...
