Now I'm thinking, what's worse for the employee? Being robbed or shoplifting? Probably being robbed but I don't know about the laws and how the business reacts

@@vermas4654 idk about this specific one but when i worked at a gas station shoplifting was kinda... Accepted. Boss (and whole company) knew that there will be shoplifters so if at the end of the month we found that there 3 bottles of coke missing or 8 cans of beer missing boss was like yeah happens.

Yea at that point they deserved to not be prosecuted, in my eyes, by far! More so even. And who knows if they just truly needed it too? I don't know their life.

Like if I was able, tho I never could, with lot of coercing and a friend to help I'd too steal anti seizure medicine if I had to to survive, for example, or a bit of food also to survive. It would destroy me inside though, but if I didn't get the help after years of trying, you know, what to do. 😥 And I too would help in such a situation. I do care about people and their well-being more than anything.

I'd just count the lifted snacks as part of the collateral of the failed holdup.

Also, depending on how hardcore the show is, it may involve punching, sumo wrestling style 1v1 matches, and in one odd instance of my experience, sudden ballroom dancing.

I'd say chaotic good, personally. Stopping the robber who was threatening the employee with a gun seems like a pretty good act--though it's hard to determine intentions from this video. I can't really tell for sure whether they were putting themselves at more risk by intervening, or if they thought this was the only way to guarantee their own safety. The former would definately be chaotic good, while the latter would lean more toward neutral. Assuming this was a reletively successful chain store, it could certainly afford the loss of a backpack's worth of stock, so the crime feels fairly victimless in my opinion. And it's not like they were stealing jewels or electronics or something; what they were taking was food, a necessity for life. Although definately illegal, the thievery here seems pretty forgivable from a standpoint of chaotic good morality.
