I'm liking this subreddit so far. You can even feel the delusion from some of these people. Story 1: I wouldn't take you back too, cheating 3 times in 8 months? You're only sad you lost your back up plan. Story 4: Depression doesn't make you cheat, that's just a pathetic way to excuse your behaviour.

Story 1: I don't even believe the first time is ever a mistake, you don't accidentally slipped fall somehow managed to rip both your clothes and stick it in. Three times is an ongoing affair that he had during his wife pregnancy and while she was giving childbirth, like seriously f*** you, she doesn't want to be around you and I can't blame her leave her alone.

Last story, with the cheater: he actually said to his ex-wife Amanda that she shouldn't date because she will, "find someone who loves you the way I love Marie." The guy is completely oblivious

The last story had a prologue: He basically told the story about how the woman he cheated with, left him for another man and how he's sad and misses his Ex.

I've said it before, and I'll stay it again: There is no worse cheater than one who cheats on his pregnant or newly postpartum life. She put her life on the line to bring YOUR BABY jnto this world, and you repay her with betrayal? How fucking DARE you. The only thing closer is someone who cheats on their terminal cancer patient partner.

The last story, being mad at the person YOU DIVORCED for going on a date long after the fact is absolutely wild!

Story 5: I wanted to know how the wife was jealous, but then it turned out she was just upset that OP forced the marriage open. Sounded like he just wanted to screw other people and got mad that not only did he not get what he wanted, but the wife got tired of this and revealed what OP was doing and it lead to a divorce. And yeah, it should stay that way, the now ex-wife deserves better, because OP is throwing a childish tantrum over the the consequences of his actions

last story that story op said that he left his wife after "falling in love" with his second wife. and that he he was so in love he moved across the country away from his ex and daughter. after 2ex cheated and left him and hom finding out his his first ex was trying to move on he was so self centered that he said "one day you'll find someone you'll truly love like i did with my second ex wife" basically telling her "I didn't love like i did with my last wife"

I swear, for every single one of these stories I keep waiting for someone to play a sad song on the world's smallest violin whenever they complain about how _it's not faaaaair_ ...

This subreddit is a lot of fun, precisely because you know going in just how awful the OPs are. And yeah, some of these people are truly reprehensible.

I think the dad was joking about "your generation needs a war" yet the guy took it to heart

The guy from story 2 is delusional. The "war" is just a word for him, as well as probably for his dad. People who saw the war have deep lifelong psychological trauma and severe depression that they have to cope with on their own. People who saw the war are messed up in all kinds of way. And I know it from my own experience because I was in Ukraine when the war started and had to spend one month in the basement with my 3 year old daughter before we were able to escape. This is horrible statement that this generation in the US needs a war. NOBODY needs it. What new generations need is responsible parents who raise kids to be responsible, ambitious, hardworking, kind and honest human beings. The war won't change people to the better. The war messes them up it a worse way possible. It breaks the heart. It desensitizes person and makes them less empathetic to others. Do not ever wish war on anybody, especially on your own children, OP's dad is freaking nuts.

8:22 I will say, I once applied for a bartending job at an upscale burlesque club. We're talking the kind of place celebrities go. I got through two rounds of interviews and didn't make it to the third, but the tips at this place were regularly in the hundreds a night. One of the girls who worked there told me she made an average of $1000 a night, but that she only ever got 3-4 nights a week and that newer bartenders would get 1-2 nights till they established themselves. With the base salary in 2015, this was still December money. But, this place was the outlier. It was not like every bar in NYC was pulling a thousand dollars a night. Mind you any bartender could be making $400-800 easily in the city. A few bars in the wall street area would regularly mention that you could be earning $1200+ a night on weekdays. And a bartender at a club could easily be making well over a thousand on weekends. But you have to remember because those tips were often cash you had to declare them on your income to actually qualify for a nice apartment. The smart thing to do was to declare most of your nights, pay taxes quarterly and pocket one night a week of cash income, usually your most middle earning night each week or even just a portion of your cash tips each week. If you don't put that portion in the bank and spend the money on food, you can live very comfortably. My guess is that she probably made good money to even qualify for the apartment, but that doesn't mean she made great money. If she was smart she would have gotten a cheaper apartment and declared slightly less cash tips on her taxes. Is it tax fraud, yes. But also tipped employees are already underpaid. The fact that you can have so much disparity on how much you make as a tipped employee is disturbing.

Last story: ahhh... I'll never get tired of the delicious karmic justice of a cheater being cheated on by their AP. Let the dude cry. His ego is just wounded because he's realizing how insignificant and replaceable he is.

open relationship story i believe the wife made a post or the brother who said op was lying and that not only lying but that he was starting to turn abusive saying that she didn't even agree with it and that he just told her "ill do it anyway" and basically started cheating on her.

For the "I want a war to remove millions of men from the dating pool" story, he already let a small and seemingly insignificant detail slip early on. He doesn't just want men to die at war and get PTSD to "change their view of life". He wants to remove large swaths of "young" men from the dating pool. It's basically admitting that he was a VERY younger woman but they keep turning him down for men their age.

As someone who lives in a country with constant battle and a war going on right now, I don't wish anyone having a war and having their friends and family dying every day. People need to be grateful that they don't have one.

Update on the Story 3: Thank you for the few encouraging comments. We are still together. We had a very long talk yesterday. He feels very betrayed and said this was a huge setback. He said one I’m financially irresponsible because I make too much money right now need to be financed . Two he thinks I been using him . That still hurts. I told him I haven’t and I love him and I’ve had opportunities to date men that make more money than him but I want HIM. He laid out some conditions. 1. Therapy? Which I thought was odd request but agreed to it. Both individual and together. 2. I speak to a financial planner and follow their budget. He said they do that for free. He said I needs to show him I want him for more than his money because he’s seriously doubting that and that he’s not sponsoring me anymore

Never in my life have I said "yo, buddy!" and "my guy!" In the span of 15 minutes. Love this sub.

I think I prefer this subreddit rather than r/aitb. Usually r/aitb has super sad stories of people who were wronged and just responded to the situation based on how a normal person would respond. This subreddit though, I can turn off my brain knowing that these stories are full of 'people' / fecal matter in human form.
