To be fair, I know the family's scapegoating Olivia didn't help and is definitely harming Ethan's ability to process the end of the marriage in a healthy way, but they didn't end his marriage. The marriage ended because Ethan wasn't willing to meet Olivia where she was or take her concerns seriously.

My dad laughed in my face when I brought up how places like Canada run their health care, he said id have to wait a year for care, jokes on me I have to wait a year for care here in the states, but I can not afford to even put myself on the waiting list! 😭

Canadian here! It depends on the care. I've always had joint pain and finally talked to my Dr. He's an older man that did some general looks and checks to see if he could feel anything concerning. After finding nothing I was given a referral to get an x4ay and ultrasound. My insurance was covered in a few local places despite me being low key country. I had exams so I waited a month for the appointment but I could have had one in a matter of days. In my experience we are GREATLY lacking in mental health care. It's terrible with no availability, no close by clinics, it's wildly expensive and generally inaccessible. For example, my province only recognizes ADHD as a learning disability I those younger then 18. So I want into uni like anyone else

Can’t speak for anywhere else, but I would like point out that in the UK, your wait time also depends on your need. I have to go to a specialist hospital for dentistry, and my wait time is usually a couple of months for the first appointment, then after that it depends on my needs. When my aunt got cancer the first time she was in chemo the day after. The second time she was in chemo that afternoon. Of course, this was pre-pandemic and pre the conservatives gutting the nhs, but it still depends on where you are and what you need. My worst wait time in A&E (the ER) is still only a couple hours bc of where I live. It’s not great but it’s not the worst either.

Fundamental compatibility is exactly why I walked away from my dv relationship, because that nostalgia tricks me into romanticizing all the beautiful times we shared. Dv is sinister and it is near impossible to convince yourself you are truly a victim. I’ll believe it for days and then one day I break down and blame myself for everything. I wish our world was set up in a way that truly took power away from abusers. But once the victim leaves, the abuser is not going to do a 180 and become a good person. Never happens. The woman before me warned me and I didn’t listen. Literally bats**t crazy psychological warfare. Thank you for using your platform to voice these COMMON issues. Love all of your content

Watch Make it or break it! same era as secret life, I watched it for the 1st time in 2020 and was lowkey shocked by how much purity culture and christian stuff was in the show, especially when DJ from full house joined the cast as like a step mom(if im remembering correctly)

Filing for divorce is not fun, but it's generally not difficult. In my state (Michigan) you can go into the courthouse, ask the clerk for the paperwork, and they will give you the form documents. You file them out, pay the filing fee (a few hundred dollars, I think), file them, and have them served. You cannot serve them, but you can have a friend serve them or the court will have the sheriff serve them. Then, you have to wait out the statutory waiting period before the judgment of divorce can be entered. Usually this time is spent figuring out what the terms of the divorce will be. Once the waiting period is over, you get a court date. You sign the judgment of divorce, go to court, the judge confirms that everyone agrees with the terms, and enters the judgment. Boom, you're divorced. Also, if one party dodges service or refuses to sign, the divorce can still happen, it's a little more complicated. Again, that's Michigan, but my understanding is that most states are similar.
