I've worked in IT for 15 years and in people's homes for 10 years before that. You would be amazed at where the bottom of the barrel of human intelligence can go...
I'm a Christian - I get so offended when other Christians act like the people in the beach story. People who say "you can't treat me like this because I'm a Christian." Or "you should do this for me because I'm a Christian." Above all else, Jesus taught his followers to respect and help others! Your faith doesn't make you entitled to anything.
Yeah I'm not Christian but I was raised in a Christian home by my father. It taught me there are some good Christians out there but there are also some horrible "Christians" that make the others look bad. Ones that cherry pick the bible and are hypocrites and the amount of prideful ones is astounding. Glad the ones I'm friends with aren't like that.
You're not wrong My older brother worked as a chef at a Italian style restaurant He was even being trained to be head chef But the pay wasn't too good, the food was average at best (staff constantly burned food and the portions were not worth the money) and some servers didn't give change back because they thought it was a tip
I hate these people who act entitled or like grunts and then say “We’re Christians.” It gives the rest of us, who try hard to treat people well and be considerate, a bad reputation. It was super eye-opening for me to get my first job as a teen as a waiter and realize that the Sunday straight-out-of-church crowd was generally the most entitled, stingy one of the entire week. Either stop claiming to be a Christian, or start acting like one.
Well the bible IS the big book of multiple choice when it comes to how you wanna act in America. Hell you can interpret it to mean damn near anything you want..."in context" Edit: as the son of a former nun.... I've seen some shit man....😆
I agree. It's hard sometimes when you try your best to be nothing but compassionate and caring towards other people, but then theres people like the lady in the video who give Christians a bad reputation. Like what is so hard about being understanding to the people around you? To anyone who's had a bad experience around these types of "christains", I'm terribly sorry.
Thank you! I like to call those people "Fake Christians", because they are Christian in name only. Usually, they occur when priests put too much emphasis on the "Chosen Of God" narratives, telling his congregation that "as long as you believe, God will forgive all you do." Unfortunately, that's the popular narrative, especially in American churches.
"people aren't that stupid are they?" RSlash you've read how many Choosing Beggar and Entitled People posts and you STILL have so much faith in humanity? You truly are a wonder. I don't mean that sarcastically or in a derogatory manner whatsoever.
@@ReigoVassal to be fair, he messes up there very rarely. I mean I´ve watched him practically from day one and he has fucked up a rating maybe 10 times or so - and most of the time it wasnt that major...
@@derguenter6257 but recently it was something very stupid. The bride case on last video: it was about opinion wether the dress are good or not, OP said it's not really suitable for the theme. Rslash said something about not supporting each other The time where OP refuse a DNA test: everyone could see that the case was probably a scam. Rslash said it's probably not. Yeah I also have following him from the first video. Sometimes I agree if he goes against the grain, but sometimes it's something very stupid.
@@ReigoVassal true, I remeber these two as well - was wondering what got into him, but in the end his ratings are overall pretty much spot on so I think we should forgive him the occasional slip. Eventhough youre right, these were pretty out of character for him
By this logic, the other viewers get to decide what the creator does, and they can decide to have none of what that particularly entitled viewer wants. And that's just by his own logic.
Dracko, your post reminds me of a video that's one of my favorites on the site. Michael from RoosterTeeth was doing a Let's Play of State of Decay, and he found a backpack on one of his supply runs. He made a joke about how he had a backpack in a backpack, and forgot to put the backpack in storage before ending the video, and a bunch of people kept messaging him about it and complaining. So, out of spite and pure 'watch the world burn' energy (his exact words were "Just to watch people crumble and descend into madness in the comments section"), he kept that backpack in his inventory for the rest of the Let's Play. The complaints kept coming, both on RU-vid and Twitter, but he kept the backpack in his inventory. Then, during the credits, he broke down the whole thing, and then ended it with yelling "YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" and a huge rant, and I just love that whole explanation/rant he went on. One of my top five favorite RU-vid videos.
Beggar: "I found a similar computer for 400, so I'll give you 300 for yours" OP: "that other one sounds like a great deal, buy that one" Beggar: "F you for calling me out on my bluff"

The pony one reminded me of this. Years ago, I was on a local horse forum. Someone had gone to an auction and fallen in love with one of the horses, but didn't have the money to buy it. They may have been unemployed, I don't recall now. So they went on and asked people to donate the money to buy the horse. I got on and told them that if they couldn't afford to buy it, that they couldn't afford to own it. I asked what would they be asking for next. Horses need to eat. They need to have their hooves trimmed regularly and possibly shod. (Mine are all barefoot) There's yearly shots as well as having the teeth cared for. ( If you ever hear about a horse needing to have its teeth floated, it means they have to file down sharp points on the teeth.) Needless to say, they got offended. I was nice about it. Another person came on and told them that I was nice. They would have told them the same thing, only a lot more bluntly and crudely. Getting the horse can be the cheap part. Caring for it properly is what costs you, especially if it has any health issues.
"people are not really that stupid right?" all the years i have been asking that question, then someone always comes around and surprises me, its like it never ends and it probably will never end, its almost like we evolving backwards and its scary... love the video man, keeps me busy during covid in South Africa, unfortunately we are close to getting hit with a third wave
I totally agree with you about our reversal of evolution. Also, my heart goes out to you and I hope you stay safe during these trying times in the pandemic.

I remember when I was dating, I felt so guilty that I couldn't pay for anything we did together since I didn't have a job yet. It was in high school. Looking back on it, he told me not to worry about it, but sometimes I still feel bad. I guess I'm really afraid of coming off as taking advantage, and I never wanted to do that. We're not dating any more, and honestly I'm much happier by myself. Though I do miss hanging out sometimes.
Man ngl i may not be super religious or anything but i really hate when people like the lady in the second post use their religion as some sort of show off talking point in these posts because it really makes the rest of us look stupid and really bad lmao.
My question for the Wedding Picture Lady is if you just got married, how do you have two kids as a Christian...? EDIT: This comment is a joke! I do not mean to offend anyone, please take this comment with a grain of salt.
You can be Christian and divorce or re-marry. The kids could well be from a previous marriage. Note on that she said Christian (which can be Catholic, Protestant, Gnostic, Mormon, Evangelical, Anglican or Orthodox, or follower of another branch of the religion) not Catholic specifically (the ones who reject re-marrying through the church once you have been divorced).
People make mistakes. But she's judgmental so I won't be any more merciful to her than she is to random strangers having a good time on the beach. I'm Christian and find this comment unoffensive.
“As an Influencer, I have 400k followers. Give me free food so I can tell people you gave me free food.” So….. how many people of that 400k live in OUR town? And how can you guarantee that all ‘400k’ buy food from me after I give you a free meal?
"People can't be that dumb, right?" A coworker in my workplace: "Technically, marriage between a husband and wife is incest because they're family members." Me: 😐
To be fair, rSlash, I'd rather hear about some burger restaurant you reached out to because you actually liked them, than another add for crappy ass Raycons. Mind you, I don't mind the raycons ads either. As shit as they are, get that money fam. 👌
A life lesson that I have learned about people: If they ask for money in the 1st six months of knowing them, that's going to be the entire basis of the them being around for the time you let them be.
I guess he did it to make it less confusing to podcast listeners just in case. Course “they” is grammatically correct and when gender isn’t important to the story “they” will be used whether it’s just referring to the person or their pronouns, but since it wasn’t vital to the story he probably just changed it. Or maybe OP referee to the person as she in the comments or smthn idk
I don’t think Americans appreciate the deeper meaning of the word-and I say that as an American! It’s not used in that context here. In fact, here it’s perceived as *milder* than outright cursing.
16:14 "If you don't have $800 to drop on a computer, then don't buy an Apple computer". Apple computers would have to come down to under $100 before I'd even consider buying one of those pieces of crap again.
just curious, is there any good reason to have changed the pronouns of the bumble person that wanted food? OP clearly used they/them and gender neutral terms the whole time so I'm just kind confused, why change them?
He wasn’t using them in an attempt to not offend. He was using them as a way of just referring to someone. And honestly, using the terms they/them isn’t even grammatically accurate for either case. This words are meant to be used when referencing a group of two or more individuals/concepts. Trying to apply them as a way of referring to just one person or thing is grammatically false.
@@tommoore2012 traditionally, singular use was also normal for referring to either a hypothetical person of either/irrelevant sex or a specific person of unknown sex.
@@tommoore2012 “hey when is the mailman coming?” “They should be here any minute” They/them is perfectly fine to refer to individuals. It makes grammatical sense and has referred to the singular for a long time

I have an idea. You should give a shout out to a random burger joint, and ask people to say something like" rslash send me," and then watch how many people go to buy themselves a burger. That way, a restaurant gets a spike in costumers, and we get the answer to the question: Does a shout out from a influencer actually does something? And how much? Enough to ask things for free?
I find it funny how the chick from the beach story seems to upset at "un-christianly" people who are at the beach even though her story implies she had kids out of wedlock. The hypocrisy is insane but honestly doesn't surprise me.
Wait, females were raised that the man pays for everything but then you're raised that you should be equal to a man? I'm lost because my parents did NOT raise me that way and I'm 44yrs old so considered more old school.. Lol..
I was definitely not raised by my parents to expect a man to pay for me! I know this happens to some girls, but I honestly think it is more likely dads giving their sons bad dating advice and girls just going along with it, because ya know, free food?
@@Phlimbob Ahh, that makes sense. I have a 26yr old son and daughters 19 and 21. I’ve paid for both my date and my food before. Sometimes we go Dutch and each pay for our own and sometimes one pays for both. It actually gets kinda funny because sometimes my boyfriend is like ‘nope, the bill is on me this time’
My family kind of taught us this?? The men would always pay when we went out to eat and even though we all had money it was kind of a given that they would. Indeed, this company doesn't even want to pay people to work. They can hire them for the 3-4 months unpaid, and then say that they "aren't suitable to work full time". They get dropped with no pay at all, and the company just picks up another unpaid intern.

That can definitely happen, but the flipside can be horrendous. My uncle was supposed to take care of my grandmother and he did for a while, but then he picked up a drug habit, spent all her savings, stopped doing anything even remotely considered household support... things went to hell so fast it's mindboggling. We had to put her in a nursing home, him in a VA rehab program, and then spend more time cleaning the house to sell it just so we could cover their care.
@@rachel154 but you are only hearing her side. Remember there are 3 sides to every story; hers, the uncles and somewhere in the middle is the truth. Your friend isn’t going to tell you anything good about her uncle because then it would make her look bad!
hey, why did you change the persons pronouns in the first story? OP used they/them so maybe thats because those are their pronouns just curious, is there a reason?
Possibly OP used they them as pronouns or just used them to refer to the person since gender isn’t important to he story. I call people with he/she/they pronouns they when I’m talking about them to someone else a lot of the time. Not because of pronouns specifically, just because that can be used in a grammatical sense, I assume Rslash did it to not confuse any podcast listeners? I bet it would be along the lines of: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I went to this public beach to take wedding pictures and everyone was naked! No one made room for us and these...*HUSSIES* were distracting my husband with their disgusting bodies. No one cared about about what I wanted, just giving me disgusting looks. @4:30 If you are a Christian? Than you should always be prepared for disrespect! "Turn the other check" means you treat people better than you are treated. Why is this so rare in people that claim to follow the gospel?
Well, that kid (because I refuse To believe that a grown man wrote that) needs to learn that respect is, you can't expect to get something that you don't give or you haven't earned.
That trip advisor review said it was always cloudy, dirty looks from the locals, young adults and people drinking. She was in Paia, wasn't she? Paia, Hana and Kihei are basically the boonies and the ghetto. No shade tho, East side represent
About the girl talking about her uncle: I'm 23 and I still live with my grandparents. But my grandfather is wheelchair-bound, and I live with them to help my grandma take care of him. Even my aunt, who already moved alway, still helps them; The uncle is probably doing the same: he lives with them to help take care of them. Not like his spoiled niece, who thinks if she lives with them they'll work as their choffeur, driving her around. Also, lady if your uncle has money to buy a new Iphone, is because HE WORKS FOR IT. If he simply used her grandparent's money to buy it, yeah I would totally get, but if it's his money, them he have the right to buy anything he wants; Also, "He don't buy it for my grandparents". My grandma used to have a Iphone and she had trouble using it, same for my grandpa who have a phone specifically for older people. I think she's trying to hide the fact she wanted him to buy one for HER.
16:20 NO. NO NO NO. Chromebooks aren't nearly as great as people say and have so many compatibility issues. Eeek. If you can't afford an apple product, you certainly can't afford to repair it.
Oh my gosh Get Baked! I had a whole nostalgic moment listening to this! They we're in a converted church in Leeds and their food used to be SO GOOD! I was gutted when they went out of business so I assumed this must have been a super old post rslash was reading til they said "nor do we exist yet" - you bet I was on google looking it up and I'm so stoked they're making some kind of comeback! Talk about making my night!
To be honest, I have a different perspective on the Uncle story. Back when my Grandma was alive, one of my uncles also constantly crashed or lived in her small place which she paid alone. He paid for nothing, smoked her cigarettes, ate her food, contributed nothing and lazed around, spending his unemployment money on booze. He was so much of a drain that grandma had to ask her other sons to financially support her more.
2:55 that seems to be the norm to be honest. Only time you get paid anything decent for your skills that I've seen anyway, is when you win Hell's Kitchen, and become chef Ramsay's head chef at his new restaurant.
Exactly. The moment they mentioned the uncle's age, I was like "I know Exactly why he has been living there for 5 years" That poster didn't say the uncle never moved out, they said it's been going on for like 5 years now. Being a "new" situation it is way more likely he moved in to help his parents out.
I won't own an Apple product. If it gets wet or otherwise malfunctions, if you don't have an iCloud account with your data backed up there, that data is, according to Apple, gone. They won' even charge you for retrieving it. I don't mean making the device functional again, I mean just getting it turned on so the data can be retrieved. They say there is nothing that can be done. And that's bullcrap. I've heard testimony that someone took such to a private shop. They said, the device is toast but we should be able to get it to turn on to get your data. And they did. They did what Apple said was impossible. I don't deal with companies and organizations that lie to their customers.
I completely agree that if your not wealthy you shouldn't go for an apple product (let's be honest at least 20% of the price is just cause of the brand and not performance) but I wouldn't recommend a chrome book either, in my experience you can get better performance out of a potato. And if you really need to go that low in price and you can't wait there are phones with better specs that can do almost everything that chrome book will be able to.
I wonder if the lady getting a computerfor her daughter knows she can go to Walmart for a laptop. I think I got mine for $200, so you'd think she would look there first.
your assessment at the end concerning the mac I think is a very valid question, either being just cheap and expecting for next to nothing, or planning on scalping it seems a likely situation, People I guess should be asking this question you did more often lol (like maybe figuring out how to look up any sales they have going on or have done in last month or so to see if they are scalping things before calling them out but don't clue them in on how you figured it out lol
The "Christian" lady at the beach, just got married but they already have kids. Uhm, I realize it's a new age in family creation, but if her values are soooo high, the kids kinda, shoulda arrived after the marriage. Seems a bit hypocritical, but hey what do I know. I would have (for a small fee) reserved that section of the beach for her and her wedding party, a mere 999.99 dollars...
You're judging her for the wrong reasons. Just because she had kids before marriage doesn't mean she isn't Christian. Like the person above me said, the kids could've been from another marriage. Also, 999.99 dollars isn't "mere" for most people.
Hell yeah I'm interested in your restaurants you eat at. It might have some good food I like. Sike nah I want to hear more about Karen's getting owned. Love your videos my guy!
