Story 2: Wow, imagine trying to steal a goat, get attacked by another goat in retaliation, and then lie about it while a camera is staring right at you.
I used to work on a country estate which had among other animals goats. Even when they are being playful and loving they headbutt you and hurt. This woman would have got what she deserved shame no showing of the bruises from Bruce.
Seriously, I knew male goats could be dangerous as I watch a channel of a great animal shelter in Crete called Takis shelter and he keeps goats. And the male goat he has, Black Devil once attacked him since he’d had kids. Takis would have died if another worker hadn’t helped him get over the fence. Male goats don’t joke.
I relate strongly to OP asking Bruce what happened instead of the lady. I have definitely had full conversations with my goats as if they were dodgy roommates.
My late sister raised Nubian Goats for a time. They acted more like dogs. BIL got good at helping momma goats with birthing, and became The Guy to call for their goat owning friends.
@@Kayenne54 I definitely believe my goats have some semblance of understanding because as soon as I say "I will grab your fucking horns" when they're harassing me, they immediately back off like "aight chill bro"
@@ArringtonJohnson Mine was a huge Anglo-Nubian cross with horns and sometimes I'd have to yell "BAD GOATS GET POOL NOODLES ON THEIR HORNS!!" because he'd cross some line or something. Norman was really smart. He knew the words "pool noodles" and I guess inferred that that meant something bad on his end so he'd knock off whatever he was doing and behave. Norm hated his horns to be touched so I guess it was a frightening sentiment for him.
Bruce was a superdad, he got himself out of his pen in time to really go after that lady and her car when obviously he didn't have any practice with that. Mom being a "fainting goat" may have explained why she didn't ram the lady too.
So BIL's health is sooo important that sister blew her inheritance instead if investing it and now expects OP to pay for his surgery, uh no, that would be a MAJOR mistake on OP's part.
But why should she sell all her nice things when she can just easily get the other half of the inheritance from baby sis? /s That older sister needs to heck off, the bloodsucking leech.
I'm willing to bet that there is no emergency, and that she lied in order to get the other half of the inheritance and continue her lavish (and wasteful) lifestyle
I wish I could see some sort of fanart or whatever of Bruce standing proudly on top of the minivan, like a movie character at a cliff looking towards the sky. Or the lion king.
First story. No, don't. She had the money, and her husband was sick and probably knew it was getting close for that. I would just say, hey sell your cars, home ect. And you'll have the money.
It's pretty telling when people don't look toward themselves first when they need cash and straight up run to family because "FaMiLy!!!". Like why would anyone help someone unwilling to help themselves in that situation.
This story could never happen in Europe, because we do not just let people die if they need a lifesaving surgery they could not afford from their own pocket. Universal healthcare is a great thing! As is (almost) free higher education for everybody.
What kind of parent doesn’t make sure their child is inside, acknowledged and taken by the chosen carer before just leaving? I would cut off my own leg before endangering a child like that.
This is my worry that I’m gonna come home from work and find some kid sitting outside my apartment (and yes there’s probably someone dumb enough and crazy enough to do this sadly)
Does anyone think these Karens and Chads have sense they might have gone to college but having major in feminist studies, ethic studies or the oldie philosophy doesn't mean they have sense.
Story 1, DONT GIVE THE MONEY. My mom would have the perfect response, so I'll share her words of wisdom. Tell her you'll consider loaning money AFTER they liquidate their assets and remove all luxury items to see how much they really need. That should shut her down immediately.
When I was a kid, back in the late 80's, my friend lived on the outskirts of my town and his house was basically set up as a small holding farm. He had pigeons, goats, chickens, a pig, a donkey, a pony and a cow. Multiple times his families property was broken into, by people trying to steal his animals and they never got far because they also had four large dogs. There was multiple signs, warning of the dogs and thieves broke in anyway. I guess they suffered instant regret over that decision.
and the fact he escalates his demands from a slice to a whole pie like he had some sorta leg to stand on. Hope he enjoyed that spicy pepperjack spray...
I am sure the parents are entitled too or at least lead to it. He probably misunderstood the statement of staying rich by not spending. Because it means don't buy materialistic things and focus on success but he probably took it as steal or beg for it because he doesn't want to pay for it
As a class teacher, I imagine all OP would be able to do about it is share the police report with her Director. When Karen came to enroll the child, it would have been the Director who accepted the enrollment.
In the story about the woman leaving her son at her neighbor's door , that woman is lucky she didn't get into more trouble than she did. No parent just leaves without talking to an adult while dropping your kids off. Even when you drop your kids off at school there are adults outside directing traffic especially at elementary schools. And at daycares you bring your child into the daycare and have a brief conversation with the person you are Leaving your child with. I don't think that woman should be a mother at all. And she should have gotten into a lot more trouble for abandoning her son for hours like she did. Love your videos Peace and love to you and your family 💜❤💜❤💜❤
I had so many parents just push their kids in the front door when I worked in a child care center. They would also get upset if I refused to let them sneak children in early by showing up early for my shift and locking the door behind me until our actual opening. They would bang on the door at 6:35 when we didn't open until 7am unless you scheduled early AND PAID ME FOR IT. I was just setting up breakfast and doing prep and stuff like that.
Story one: Takes money from sister who might becomes a doctor that cures the illness brother in-law has. Yeah, she made her choice...and the illness was there when Dad passed and she still bought the cars, etc. Didn't plan for potential treatment and now its the lil sis fault? Hell no.
The story about the wanna-be pizza thief: Saying "I get everything I want" is super problematic and lowkey predatory. What's next? "I wanna sleep with you, so I'll force you"? Honestly it's good that he got put in his place and even though this probably makes me a bad person, I hope it hurt.
Story 1: Sister; You need to pay for my husband's surgery because we're family OP: can't you just sell some of your stuff, then you'll have more than enough money for the surgery Sister: How dare you, my stuff is part of the family too and I can't throw away my precious things, it's better if you throw away your stuff Me: this is what I heard, I would cut contact because apparently it's more important for the sister to guilt trip others than to make her own sacrifices
Goes to prove that only a REAL SACRIFICE by the person concerned (their own blood, sweat or tears) will make any difference. Once you ask others to make the sacrifice, the desired changes cannot happen. There's a really good example of this in a Book which has been translated into hundreds of languages.
The goat story never gets old. LOL I breed goats and, from the sound of it, that woman came off lucky. Most goats are disbudded (ability to grow horns removed at 2-4 days old), mine are not. If it had been my buck, Jack, she likely would have been in the hospital. Jack is a bit of a mean, protective asshole and has quite impressive horns. Edit: So Bruce does have horns. LOL
I used to work on a dairy goat farm with Saanen goats and while I never had a problem (the goats were super friendly), if that idiot woman had tried that around that farm's buck, she would have been in *big* trouble. Justin was a tank compared to Bruce (who is absolutely the GOAT).
@@mamadragon2581, yeah I would never mess with a Saanen buck! lol I had a couple of Saanen does that were giant sweeties but the bucks are much bigger than Nubians and can get quite ornery!
Story 3: The boy was smart enough to stay where he was and not wonder away. But man Karen can't go to that daycare knowing that she had insulted her son's teacher, but I got to wonder how pissed off her husband was.
Story 1: OP should tell the entitled sister and her brother in law that with an education in the medical field more lives will be saved by her. I understand that it's a family matter and that makes things more difficult but it isn't selfish to pay for your own education, particularly if there are assets and other methods that her sister can use to pay for the surgery. Story 2: What kind of idiot tries to take any baby animal away from it's parents. I don't blame Bruce for attacking her, he was protecting his baby. How would she like it if someone tried to steal her kid. Story 3: She deserved to be arrested, honestly why would you leave a child on someone's doorstep after only having one conversation with them. Not only did she leave her child alone for hours, she really had no idea who she was leaving her child with and she left him outside to face the elements and I'm supposing without food or water. Anything could have happened to him. Story 4: That teenager isn't going to get very far in life if he thinks that he can just take whatever he wants from others without fear of consequences. Maybe getting pepper-sprayed is the rude awakening that he needed to start to realise that his behaviour is wrong and start to change it. If someone cares enough to reinforce that lesson then maybe he can wind up as a productive member of society.
The friend said it all: SELL THE CARS AND THEIR OTHER STUFF TO GET THE MONEY! They don't want to give up on their luxury and would rather ruin someone else's life to get what they want. It's disgusting. OP should go to school and go low/no contact with them. They don't care about her, so why should she care about them?
Story 2: I love how the Karen says that OP is gonna pay for what the baby goat did inside the van, totally oblivious to the fact that she’d have to explain why it was in there in the first place.
The goat story reminded me of neighbors I had in the house I grew up in. Their son and his friends were very troublesome for the neighborhood and they didn’t like us because my dad called the police on their son & his friends for stealing out of my dads garage. It was summer and extremely hot and they had a black mini van, I don’t know the whole story word for word as I was about 10 or 11. They somehow bribed our cat with food and trapped him in their van trying to kill him in revenge I guess. A few months prior their dog was loose and tried to attack my younger brother, but our cat ripped the crap out of the dog. Well joke was on them as my cat was yowling so loud another neighbor heard and we followed it to the van. When they opened the van the putrid stench of cat urine hit them and caused a few to get sick. He also decided to poo from one end to the other of the van and absolutely shredded the entire interior of the van. Cops were called and the dad got arrested, they tried to blame us but there was evidence of cans of tuna in there that proved they lured him. I had that cat for 15 years and I miss him still.
The goat story.... Grrrr. I used to have goats, now I just have sheep. It's a good thing Bruce was on the scene and able to break out. Go Bruce!! When OP says that she's lucky the police are there, I know exactly what he means. Which reminds me, I've been meaning to send Fluff some pictures of my black lambs.
Story 4- I bet the kid was from Karenville. These kids demanding food from strangers are insane. Obviously, Karens don't teach stranger danger. Just what can I get for free.
I've gone hungry enough times in my life that kid wouldn't feel like eating for a while if he tried that with me. It would be difficult for me to walk without my cane, but it would be more painful for him, with part of it broken off inside his sorry ass! One punk tried to take a cane from me, one day. I had him on the ground, begging for me to let go, between his gasps for air. He learned that old men aren't unable to defend themselves, and that most Veterans were well trained in self defense. He did come out of tat encounter with a new nickname. He went from 'The biggest Bad ass' to 'Pretzel Boy' that day.
@@michaelterrell I know what it's like to feel real hunger as well. I also have a cane myself. It's a pretty purple sparkly one. I have a severe case of A.S. so I can definitely relate. I haven't used my cane as a weapon before but I have noticed if you raise it in the air it gets people's attention pretty quick. Also, I want to say Thank you for your service Sir.
@@TheOfficialTarynTots You're welcome. I joke with people that I only use my cane on people on Fridays. when it is Friday. I also joke that people treat me much better when I'm holding my cane in the air. I have several. A heavy aluminum one from the VA, and a couple dark brown that are slightly metallic looking. I've thought about buffing the aluminum one to a mirror finish, and putting a few ounces of led shot in it to make a little noise as I walk. I can't believe how many people claim not to hear me walking with it. May you have a Blessed day!
@@michaelterrell used my shiny turquoise "fish scale" pattern to hit the hood of a car once. AH thought cutting in front of me when I was halfway across the street in the crosswalk was okay. And got out of her car to cuss at me, blocking the traffic that witnessed it. I told her to either shut up and move on or call the police.
@@sherylcascadden4988 I slammed my VA cane against the trunk lid of a new Lincoln, when a woman tried to back over me. It was so loud that she did a panic stop and came running back to see what happened. She turned red when she saw me. Before she could think of what to say, I read her the riot act, and told her to look before backing up before she killed someone.
The first story, I would have been like "that was a test to see if you deserve it. Turns out, you don't." She probably just wanted to go buy another car.
I’ve read that goat story before and it never gets old. We’ve got the sweetest goats where I live; they are wild themselves and follow the wild turkeys around. They are chocolate brown and totally nom nom nom. Go Daddy Go!
Story 5: If I was told "Oh by the way, your Super-annoying and lazy sibling with their 3 untrained Dogs will be moving in with you this Summer for about 2 months" I'd get a Police officer to guard my house for the next 3 months, don't let other people push you around and force you into making decisions you don't want to make, we have Boundaries
Karin leaving her little son at OP's house whilst she is working at the daycare... what an absolute angel that little boy must have been as he stayed putt and just coloured on the the porch and even without food or drink. Makes you wonder if he is used to it. Poor kid. And Bruce (goat) is so beautiful!
Story 1: I don’t think you should give her the money. If they have a lot of luxurious things they can sell them off and then make payments to the hospital for the rest. If she can’t afford the surgery now there is no way she will be able to pay you off next year (unless she suddenly wins a lottery). You should be able to go to medical school without having to pay it off for the rest of your life. Would she be willing to help you pay off your medical school? She may say yes just to get your money but when the time comes to getting it you’ll be left out in the cold. There is a reason that the majority of the family have cut ties with her. Think about that.
My husband had a health crisis and we were put on a payment plan afterwards. If the sister can afford to pay her back sometime, then she can afford a payment plan. Oh look, a healthy happy husband and father without robbing your sister. Fixed it.
I'm still confused as to why she was trying to steal goats? Like they are not easy animals if you don't know what you're doing... Worse is they know the sacred truth of the barbarians. Hit it hard and it will break. They also have a mama bear level of you don't fuck with my family. She's lucky she just got rammed and the rage was given to the van.
@@mbyerly9680 while roast goat is yummy, most people don't think of it, and I would rather get mine at the butcher's where I knew it has passed inspection and was raised for this. Karen was definitely stealing the "cute pet" without a clue.
I have heard a good agrument for story 1. "You don't refuse to pay for your sister's husband's surgery, you refuse to pay for your sister's house and cars."
Story 2: I cannot believe this lady would try to steal baby goats, what gave her the right to do that and what does she need those baby goats for? Good thing OP had cameras so Karen wouldn't pull a stunt like that again.
OP story 1….all you need to say is this: “I am going to school to help ppl like your husband. Maybe I can cure him after I get out of school. Or would you not want him cured???”
The young lady whose sister asked for her inheritance to pay for her bil’s surgery, should absolutely NOT give it up. Her sister is way out of line, she blew hers and now wants her sisters? No way. Stay strong, hold your head up high and tell her to go and feck off.
Since the husband is chronically ill, I’m going to assume this surgery was no surprise. The sister should have managed her money better by saving it instead of spending it on stuff she didn’t need. Goat stealing lady is just plain stupid. What were you going to do with that baby goat? Plus isn’t it common knowledgeable that goats smell pretty bad? Bruce was just being a dad protecting his kids. Can’t fault a parent for being a parent regardless of species.
Since Bruce was up on the minivan when OP got home, that should have been a clue that one or more of the kids was in the van. Goats are climbers, but a vehicle of that size is usually not something a goat will climb on. The damage he'd already done was another clue. I would love to see that Karen get attacked by Bruce.
You should look up baby Pygmy goats - they’re miniature goats so a baby is literally like the size of a puppy! I think even full grown, they won’t get any bigger than a normal baby goat. SO friggen cute!
I've heard the goat story before, but hadn't seen the pictures of the goats. They're super cute! I didn't mind hearing the story again, as it is very satisfying when a useless kleptopotamus gets her just desserts!
First story; I've seen this one before. I still say NTA. She got her own inheritance. She can either use her and her husband's own money, ask her husband's family and friends OR get a loan. You don't owe the ahole anything. His bad behavior is his fault, his condition is not a valid excuse for it (And that is a huge part of why you don't want to help him) The fact is that he will never be healthy and she wants to blame you. You are not responsible for his bad behavior or his bad health (and I say this with bad health myself)
Sheep will do the same. I swear my aunties sheep took great pleasure of hitting someone in the knees from behind so they were dumped on their butt. Lol.
Yeah male goats are no joke. You get between one and his females or kids and he’ll legit try to kill you. A guy who has a great animal shelter in Crete has a few goats. He’s taken in baby goats and I think let one breed. Either way Takis was still fairly new to keeping goats and got in the pen with a big male and his females. Well, Black Devil the goat legit tried to kill Takis. He got out with a broken hand but really Takis only survived or got away without more severe injuries because a worker was able to help him get over the fence in time.
I have 5 goats, split into two groups(1 buck with 2 breeding girls and then our other male who's snipped with our non-breeding female) and now I can't wait for my girls to kid, I can totally imagine my buck fighting off the chickens that share the goat pen 😂
There is NO way I would allow 1, more or less 3, untrained dogs to stay in my house… especially for free. IF she stayed at my house she would have to pay rent, pay extra rent for her dogs (to stay OUTSIDE), she has to pay for her own food AND she HAS TO CLEAN UP AFTER HERSELF. This would be non-negotiable.
When that OP said the breeds of his giants my heart melted. I grew up on a farm and in 4-H and love nubians floppy ears and think it is the cutest thing how fainting goats faint when they are scared.
Do not help entitled sister!! Telling you that your doctorate is less important than her husband‘s health when she bought two cars and revamped their house is beyond ludicrous. Remind her of the fact that Uber is out there. And most states also have a decent bus system.
I remember that one of the holiday homes i stayed at over 10 years ago had some goats on the property (there were multiple holiday homes, i cant remember if there were 2 or 3, i think there were 3) I seem to remember the owners said to anyone that stayed at those holiday homes that things like banana peels (banana skins) could be fed to the goats I even remember that one day i was allowed to help out with collecting the eggs from the hens, and i got a free egg for helping out
We had pygmy goats in a run which was at side of house. If you looked out of window it was common to see a flying goat at head height as it launched to bounce off the gate. Pretty hilarious.
The goat story is one of my absolute favorites! Wish I could cuddle those baby goats!!! I just love animals so much and goats are sooo special. LOVE Dark Fluff!
Damn right OP would never see any of that money if she had given to the sister. OP would be enabling an entitled Karen. A Karen that will use this event as a means to INCREASE her disregard for other people.
Story 1...Dont let her guilt-trip you. She has other options like selling her new car or downsizing thier house. She just wants you to pay for her husband, who would never do the same for you, while keeping her fancy new stuff. DO NOT set fire to your future and all the people you could help, for them.
Medical school is more important to the future, and cars and trinkets are just stuff. If her possessions are more important than the surgery then she has made her choice. Protect your future OP, let her make her own decisions and live with them.
@@lockwoan01, the goats immune systems protect them from the effects of poison oak, ivy, and sumac. However they will sweat out the active chemicals, which then coat their fur/hair afterwards for a time. Hence why you don't want to pet them for a bit after they've eaten such plants.
Story 2: I've heard this one before and it's legendary, I really wish that we could see the footage of that Karen getting Nailed in the Ass by a Goat Goat Simulator Special Mission: Destroy Karen
OP in the first story should retort, "If your husband's health is the priority, why don't you use your inheritance? Oh, you spent it? Then I guess you'll have to sell that stuff to recoup some of it. Mine's going towards my medical education, so that I'll be able to help even more sick people."
As a chronically ill person, I hate Story 1: First, it’s not ever okay for a chronically ill person to ever be unempathetic to another person’s circumstances. I’d never guilt someone’s future for my health. I might ask, once, but then I’d let it drop. Make a GoFundMe like everyone else. PS: +1 to the story order. Baby animals are a great follow up to that train wreck.
Or they could just sell the luxury cars, etc. Once you introduce the possibility of selling some of their luxuries, the false dichotomy that the entitled sister’s trying to create (“Your career vs. my husband’s life.”) vanishes along with any real argument she has to support her demands.
A friend of mine raises goats down in NZ, and they are the cutest babies in the world. She has them in little goat PJs, cuteness overload. She has a goat sanctuary and rescues.
Male goats: may play too rough with their kids out of jealously. Also male goats: Kool-aid man their way through a fence out of sheer rage someone had the audacity to scare and take their child then proceed to attempt murder
I am the executor of my wife's estate. She died almost five years ago now. She has two children, two living parents, an ex-husband, and several siblings. We live in an easily accessible region of The United States (Reno, Nevada). My offer was this: I am going to delay her funeral for two months. Make your flight arrangements, we have a big dinner planned, we can host smaller gatherings. Her estate will pay for everything! I'll let you guess how many people showed up for an all-inclusive trip to a major resort community. Oh, wait, When I look out my window, I can see where the 1960 Winter Olympics were held!
Growing up my dad had registered Nubian and Alpine goats he used to show at various animal shows over the years...the bucks usually had horns and you always had to keep your eyes on them if you turned your back they would nail you and it fricken hurt I can just imagine karen getting knocked flying...having seen my brother and my dad both get nailed by him 🤣🤣🤣
That first story.... We all know OP would never have seen a cent of her money back. And there would always be more expenses they need help with and more empty promises of reimbursement.
