I love R&G. My buddy went down on his R1 with these. They saved the bike completely. Only missed 2 sessions cleaning sand out of the intake. Highly recommend
Your explanation is so detailed and precis, you made the instructions useless :) I bought them after you recommend them and installed them watching your video !! Thankyou so much, keep up the good work.
They are a little spendy but real nice for sure. This is my first R&G part install, have to say I am impressed. This is one of the very best engineered frame slider kits I have ever seen. - Brian Van
awesome vid! I really need to invest in good Frame sliders. I am gonna go check them out now. Thank you for posting these vids. I really appreciate it.
@@sportbiketrackgear Thanks for getting back. I didn't want to buy a physical service manual but I did find that specs from a gen 3 R6 service manual PDF, and I don't see how that's different. Pretty sure saw you at Grattan last time.
With frame sliders it is very difficult to get both sides completely even. The motor mount points and bodywork have a lot of influence as to where each side needs to be. - Van
You can not remove the fairing without removing the puck. End of the day it is only a couple more fasteners to get that done, the real work is still removing the fairing itself on the R6. I don't feel like this really adds too much work, especially for a service most perform 1 to 2 times a season. - Brian Van
I just purchased 2007 yamaha r6 and found it that bolt from the engine mount is missing i wondering is there a spacer like yours in your bike. Before i put my new frame slider
At this time LSL does not offer a kit for the 2017 and up R6. This R&G kit is really impressive and I feel LSL would have their work cut out for them to make a better one. - Van
