There is usually no need for indirect retainers on the Kennedy Class III unless there is a very long edentulous area in the anterior and only 3 abutments like tooth 15 5, and 2 remaining. Then you have a reverse extension base set up where the rest on tooth #2 acts as an indirect retainer to prevent the anterior area from lifting.
