Story 3: Yeah, nobody needs that sort of doctor in the medical field. He is incompetent and only cares about himself, which such a mentality should never be in a place as super-risky as a medical office
@11epicnoob
@11epicnoob Год назад
Yeaaah, the doctor [Story 3] SHOULD lose his license for having relations with patients. The botched surgery wouldn't be the easiest thing to prove as intentional, but it could potentially start an investigation, which could lead to discovering the relations with patients and workers. If that did get discovered, it would basically ruin his entire life
@jasonwethy8360
@jasonwethy8360 Год назад
While you're right the fact that he treated her the way he did afterward is enough for it to be malpractice. Nothing was wrong then procedure now something is wrong.
@BeeWhistler

I would argue that botching the surgery and causing permanent damage WAS the worst part, though. I was a bit troubled that to the OP it was all about how the doctor acted. Pretty sure the patient would differ. But that’s typical doctors.
@kranberry3318
@kranberry3318 Год назад
It was clearly intentional, but that can be hard to prove. But here’s the thing: THAT DOESN’T MATTER. Intentionally or not, he caused damage. That’s malpractice. You don’t need to prove intent, just the end result. That’s easy.

I agree with rSlash on the last story in the making the doctor pay for the botched procedure. Moreover, not only would I have asked for that, but I would have also went a LOT deeper with the case against him, as well as made the case go from r/ProRevenge to nothing short of r/NuclearRevenge, by doing the following things. 1. I would have sued the doctor for wrongful termination. 2. I would have sued the doctor for illegally withholding my pay. 3. I would have sued the doctor for illegally withholding my overtime pay. 4. I would have sued the doctor for harassment. 5. I would have sued the doctor for sexual harassment (which is most likely occurring, given what the story says of him). 6. I would have sued the doctor for malpractice. 7. I would have sued the doctor for intimidation. 8. I would have sued the doctor for assault (if that is applicable). 9. I would have sued the doctor for rape (if that is applicable). 10. I would have sued the doctor for fraud. 11. I would have sued the doctor for deceptive practices. 12. I would have sued the doctor for financial fraud. 13. I would have sued the doctor for misuse of medical equipment. 14. I would have sued the doctor for numerous violations of laws regarding health care. 15. I would have sued the doctor for discrimination for not correcting a botched surgical procedure. 16. I would have sued the doctor for evidence tampering. 17. I would have sued the doctor for witness intimidation. 18. I would then make my lawsuit be joined with other people that he had wronged with all of my charges, plus all of their charges. Now with my lawsuit alone, he would certainly lose his medical license permanently, worldwide, and had also spent quite a few years behind bars, but with the other class action lawsuits, plus any alimony and child support that came from his soon to be ex-wife, as well as any woman that he raped, and made children with, and anything else that the cops, the district attorney, and the judge could find, well, the only way that he would ever get outside of a prison would be horizontally, and also inside of a pine box.

From someone with a botched surgery: I wish it were as simple as suing and demanding money for suffering but it isnt the case. In America at least, Drs are human and are allowed to make mistakes. To win a malpractice lawsuit for a botched surgery you would have to show gross negligence on the part of the Dr. Or prove that he was intoxicated at the time of the surgery. Just because you have a bad outcome doesn't give you license to sue. 3 years post op and I am still in chronic pain. I got nothing except calls from a debt collector. I refuse to pay for a surgery that jacked me up worse than before I went in.

A court would likely side fully against him given the proven antagonism by him likely to force you to quit, his botching surgery prior to that, his attempts to suddenly surrender and low ball you, the unpaid overtime. Pretty much anything he says or provides would be considered as unreliable because he is a proven liar and abuser to staff. I doubt many courts would have sided with him.

I really hate how the op in the story about the husband screwing over his wife, (rightful or no) called a bulk of retail workers, "the average retail monkey". That added with the comment of "no bullshit absenteeism", just really speaks to how he views the average person in the working class. At the end of the day, not everyone has the same resources to drive a nice car, or put all their energy into a job that honestly, doesn't pay a living wage. Or cares much for them, as is made evident. Anytime someone calls a human being a monkey, that sounds like a red flag and makes me question how reliable a narrator they are.

Besides a malpractice claim, the doctor should be reported to his state or provincial college of physicians for his conduct with female staff and patients. That will get him, at minimum, his license suspended and someone observing his office when he returns. I had a doctor for a short time who did the same things with patients and staff and was caught 3 times and is no longer a doctor. He was stripped of everything by the college of physicians. He's not even listed online as a doctor anymore. There's plenty to do to him well beyond just the back pay. If he conducts himself that way with female staff and patients, it definitely needs to be investigated.

Not automatically winning it, but delaying things so that it goes nowhere to the point of the case being closed in no ones favour, which is in favour of those that are being sued... The last story however is really disappointing. No only being scammed by the former employer, but also a botched procedure. And in the end being happy with only $5k... Is this a repeat episode? Or have I just randomly happened to hear each and every one of these stories on separate channels before now?

You seem to have issues with your microphone or connectivity - there are several parts with audible noise in this video and some sequences where the volume fluctuates.

That last story was kinda... dissatisfying. Like I can understand wanting to wash your hands of the whole thing and just taking the settlement, but this guy has done so much to OP, on top on the illegal activities, on top of the sexual harassment that might be at play. I'd be taking this fucker for all he's worth. Recording every conversation, draining his cash with a drawn out legal battle, reporting him to the IRS for possible tax fraud, suing him for malpractice on top of the wage theft, sending every bit of evidence of his infidelity to his significant other and anything else I can think of to burn his fucking life to the ground and making sure he has as little chance at harming anyone else as possible.

What does OP mean by botched a surgery ? Is this man so spiteful he caused someone a lifetime of possible pain and suffering just to get them fired ?

The last guy should’ve told that asshole doctor “tough luck” before blocking him out of his life once he got what he was earned.

I heard about someone who did this. A high paying job, then quit and got a minimum one. The courts till had her pay her original percentage pay as she was not fired but quit to be malicious.

I would have waited till the last possible day to agree to the settlement. Just to see what else he offers.
