@@an3nome yeah. Up at the top menu bar, under the wrench. Click on the video tab and it’ll appear as an option

@@an3nome it’s easily missable so that’s understandable. To see the time lapse open up the desired artwork, click on the Actions icon (looks like a wrench) select the Video tab and you can view the time lapse

@@revolution1237 Well, it's not it. AI art websites have their AI sample from thousands of images. Some of the images it samples from are copyrighted, which is a big no-no! (Among all the other no-no's of AI "art"). This is resulting in people trying to have copyright claims on programs that use their art. There's not a lot of regulations yet on AI art in these situations, so these programs can easily get away with it, which is terrible. AI art is definitely going to have to change, cuz right now it literally steals without the consent or even knowledge of actual artists. It does not make any new material, it only takes samples from existing material. Copyrighted or not, it's not good and quite amoral. In order for AI to get better at drawing is if it's entire programming is changed to have it actually create it's own content rather than stealing it. And that's going to take a long while lol

especially funny considering that procreate has a built in timelapse function so if they really had drawn such horrifically monstrous graspers we couldve gotten a timelapse of the mental breakdown

I guess they aren't smart. However, there are AI artists who are smart enough to make the hands/face/eyes normal that it's genuinely difficult to tell whether or not their works are real. I've seen some of the work made by some AI artists before, and I was genuinely surprised that they were AI-made 'cause without them telling me that, I would've guessed that they were human-made, especially the hands/faces/eyes.

@@revolution1237 i don't think it's that they're dumb, i think it's more likely that they're just young and naive, like teens or something like the first AI pic for example, the valorant one, i'm pretty sure it was made with stable diffusion using automatic1111. and a1111 is (at least in my experience) not easy to install and run. if i remember correctly, it took me 3 days to get it working on my pc. and it's not like i'm a total dunce when it comes to these things either (131iq, no life computer nerd, with programming experience). and the same pic was also clearly using LoRas, so the person who made it clearly isn't a complete idiot. also, i'd say that if an AI generated picture (especially if there's a human) looks so good, that you can't tell if it's AI or not, i'd call that real art if the image is, well, artful, as the person who made it clearly put time and effort into it. again, speaking from experience, it actually takes time and skill to 'tame' the AI and really make it do what you want it to, and to learn how it reacts to the billion different settings and modes you can change. especially if you have a bunch of plugins and LoRas, like most, dare i say, AI artists have.

I've never seen a social media platform that doesn't scrub metadata when you upload stuff on it. It has been a few years since I tried, though. And I think most people know that anyway, since looking up the metadata is an extremely common step to grab the prompt you used earlier without bothering to keep detailed notes (automatic1111 has a "PNG Info" tab for this built in by default)
