if you go back to watch "Sole Crusher", the episode where Zoe met Marinette for the first time, you will notice that the moment Zoe realizes Marinette is a kind and considerate person upon exchanging phone numbers, Zoe begins to blush, hinting that Zoe really did develop a crush on Marinette the day they met. At the end of the episode, Nino points to a rainbow to hint that Zoe is part of the LGBTQ+ community. However, whats sad is that this means that Zoe was also bullied by her former friends because she revealed she was part of the LGBTQ+ community, she revealed her true self and they did not like it.

I've always loved how André treats Zoe as his own daughter. They are the only two not related by blood, and yet have the most genuine familial bond. Sometimes I wonder if he actually is her biological father. I mean, Audrey clearly doesn't care enough to be faithful to her husband, or even keep her daughters' names straight, so can we really say she couldn't have gotten their parentage wrong too?

God, I can't help but laugh every time gabby just slides in with that "N O".

It's hilarious to me how many people fall for Marinette. Excluding the obvious main romance interest Adrien, we have Nino, Luka, Nathaniel, and now Zoe. She's apparently very charming and attractive to so many characters. Makes me wonder what the show would be like if there was no set main couple.

I just want to remember that in episode ten (before Zoe get the cat miraculous) she called Marinette and said that she knows how difficult love can be, this dialogue hits so different after this episode... And also, happy birthday Zamber🎉🎉🎂 what's a great episode to celebrated

This was an underrated episode, mainly because it made the haters bust a blood vessel. anyone who called Zoe's crush "pointless" didn't even think about how Marinette needed to see how an un-recipricated confession isn't the end of the world. It does however upset me a bit that we can get this, yet no concrete confirmation for Julrose. Happy Bday, Zamber🥳!!!!!

When Gabriel "creeped" in, that was in Adrian's mind. For that to pop up in Adrian's mind when he's about to kiss Marinette and then act completely out of character after. It seemed like his mind was being controlled. Gabriel was watching from the window, playing with the rings.

Omg! When I first saw this episode I was so proud of Zoe, and the way that Marinette fixed everything! Also I can't wait for you to see the final. (I recommend that episode's 20 and 21 are quite a good as a two parter)

It's very likely that Zoé is pansexual. One thing that the creators love to do is to add the characters' traits and personality into their design. One example is how some characters' color scheme match their respective Miraculous. With Zoé, we can see that she wears yellow (her pants), blue (her beanie) and pink (her hair streak) and those are the colors of the pansexual flag. But one can't deny that she also wears some of the colors of the demisexual flag, like her black jacket and her white shirt. Whatever it is, I am so glad that she was so gracious about her heartbreak. She loves Marinette so much that she only wants to see her happy, even if that means having her love another person. IMOH, Zoé was the very embodiment of adoration in this episode.

I will admit I've been pretty critical of Zoe since the beginning. But Season 5 is helping me enjoy and appreciate her more. Especially with her being more assertive against Chloe (like in Kwami's Choice) and how her kindness overpowers her sister's terror. I did enjoy that. Also, while I dislike Chloe for getting away with trying to frame Marinette, I'm more annoyed at the adults for not doing or saying anything afterwards. Especially the principal who was so hung-ho about expelling Marinette on the spot yet does NOTHING when the real criminal is exposed and walks away with her head high. Not even a comment or any verbal reprimands. And yes I know, she's untouchable. But it still doesn't make it okay and it just makes Damocles look even worse.

That whole scene where Zoe had a whole system with her dad and the buttler to counter Chloe was just great I was honestly happy to see Chloe being the one picked around

I was absolutely proud of Zoe in this episode! Because even though Marinette didn't feel the same way Zoe was still able to tell her how she felt!

Can we talk about Gabriel saying no for a second that was a creepy scene😨 And Zoe was such a queen in this episode🥰

Ok, we need more Nathalie, cuz she's making Adrien life better than Gabriel...

This is one of my three favourite Season 5 episodes, alongside Jubilation and Perfection. It's not extremely plot-important, and it doesn't really impact the overall story, but it's just so cute and pure. It warms my heart every time I watch it. Also, happy birthday Zamber!

People were speculating, but I had a hard time believing it. Now that it happened, it does make sense. Zoe just joined the Luka brigade, lovely people who care more about their crush's happiness than being with them. Letting them choose, there's no truer love than that 😁

0:35 at least with the rest of season 5 coming out on the 19th, you can spend the rest of the time after reacting to season 5 to make it a big theater style reaction for the movie that will come out at the end of the month. Give it that ZamberGlam, prep some flavored popcorn and drinks, watch from an easy chair and all other stuff to give it that theater feel for the miraculous movie. I do love how thanks to this episode we get a better idea of Zoe’s age compared to Chloe and being around a year younger, means that right after Audrey gave birth to Chloe, she had some New York-style “fun” and 9 months later had Zoe. Zoe had quite the character arc and it was thanks to Marinette and Plagg to a lesser extent from being Kitty Noire. Gabriel’s face at the end, was so fear-inducing, like one of those horror games. Give a little money bonus to the animators in that scene for making Gabriel like that. Your face reaction to that was hilarious too, like “WTF did just happen?” Sorry for the long post and I hope you enjoy your birthday

Rose and Prince Ali (The Prince that was introduced once all the way in season 1 “Princess Fragrance” stayed in touch after they first met and have become really good friends. And the Special Secret Cat Noir chose this name because it was also the name of the hero of the bedtime story his mother read to him.

Zoe has gotten a serious mixed bag ever since she went to stay in Paris: She got friends who accept her for who she is, her stepdad feels her struggle and both help one another through them, becomes 2 superheroines, and has someone she can be true with herself and her feelings to. But she also has her half-sister who hates her, her mom still ignores her, lost those 2 superhero identities to Monarch and blamed herself for losing the latter & later had to give it up, and now she had to sacrifice her own love to support Marinette's. Say what you want about her being a Mary Sue Chloe replacement, at least they're trying to do more for her character at least a little bit.

Me watching this episode for the first time: There's no way they'll believe Chloe's accusations. It's Chloe! They know her. Them: Marinette, if you needed these, all you had to do was ask. I am very disappointed in you. You are expelled! Me: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

The sentimonster theory is thriving also I laught when Gabe said NO

Don't worry, Zamber, Gabriel has stopped using the Snake Miraculous, otherwise the Cataclysm on his body would continue to spread and short his life even faster. However, unless there's a reason against it, he could still use the Snake Miraculous by transfering it to a villain he could trust. That villain can't be Nathalie, but that could be Tomoe. After all, she is on his side. He could akumatize Tomoe and give her the power of Second Chance, that way he wouldn't endanger himself and the villain that would use it would not put at risk all of his operation.

1 kinda fun to have a Vanisher Designated Episode after all this time. 2 It says a lot that the best relationship between the members of the Bourgeois-Lee Family is between Andre and the product of his wife’s affair 3 pour one out for Sabine and Tom for not popping off, because if my kid was falsely accused this many times by these freaking people I would have fought someone in a parking lot

The way Chloe said to lila "Are you a witch!"

Her colour palette is that of the pan flag, with the blue, pink and yellow. She also has a sapphic flower on her shirt.

This is one of my all time favorite season 5 episodes! It was simply adorable to learn that Zoe was in love with Marinette, But at the same time it made think "The love squares in this show are getting out of control." I was proud of Zoe character development wise, Because now she knows how Marinette used to feel when she had a hard trying to tell Adrien her true feelings and thanks to Marinetter Zoe was able to tell her true feelings, And I was happy that Zoe didn't feel any heartbreak when she confessed her feelings to Marinette because deep down good old Zoe knew that even though Marinette is in love with someone else Zoe was completely understanding which is what makes her such a good person and friend!

I saw this episode in French (I don’t speak it, I use subtitles) and when Gabriel said “No” in English, it gave me chills up my spine

Probably one of my favorite episodes, atleast in the top 5, so much Zoe Lee character development in over 22 minutes

I don't think there's anything wrong with Zoe, that's my problem with her, but I do love the queer rep in this show no matter what, especially with how Zoe literally dresses head to toe in the pansexual flag

wait. this got me thinking. Vanisher is on the Eiffel Tower where both Marinette and Adrien transform at. and of course Vanished didn't see, but how can they be so sure when the villain is legitimately invisible and didn't perhaps see them?

i used to be annoyed because i loved Zoé as a character, and i thought her whole purpose was to be “Queen Bee 2.0”. but now, here we are: she was the literal catalyst for Marinette finally saying “i love you” to Adrien, after 4.5 seasons! this is definitely my new second favourite episode.

I'm not sure if they actually plan on releasing the rest of the season on Disney+ yet. They very well might, but while the press list originally said "15-27", it now says "6 episodes" I think it was an oversight because of Action, a non-canon special that is considered episode 27. I feel like the adjustment implies they'll only add 15-20 and 27, but maybe they really will dump the whole thing... I guess we'll see
