@@WoodsDaily420gtrs aren't good drift cars. AWD and all wheel steering just isn't suited for it. there's a reason you only see gtt drift cars, a locked diff and rwd is just better
@@bakihanma7247That’s because it was based off of that exact platform. The original R35 test mule was a G35 coupe with a VR38 stuffed into it. Insane stuff honestly
It’s crazy how someone using the metric of what car Paul walker pulled up in as what’s best. What car did James Bond have? What car was in Smokey and the bandit? Irrelevant to engine power. The dude that said he needed his clutch or whatever right NOW explaining why LS engines were better made waaaay more sense than this logic. LS isn’t even the best and the logic stands
Crazy how tech was pretty solid back in the day my 98 or 99 LS 400 had a touch screen head unit and touch screen controls for a/c heated seats even had mf gps
Ikr. My Nissan patrol has rear climate control, electric seats , an Electric compass , tilt angel , cruise control. My 2020 work car has none of that shit 😂
@@JonathanLittle001wrong for 2 fast 2 furious skylines were all real GTRS for Fast 4 only one GTR and the stunt cars were GTTs with GTRs fenders and badges
@@hiphopheadgamerquite right but GT-T in the film of 2003's 2Fast & 2Furious the GT-T was used as stunt cars and as a prop replicas of a GT-R as they were used in filming, but there only one actual GT-R on-screen; the rest of the Skylines were lower-performing, GT-T models dressed up as GT-Rs which the director didn’t want to ruin a great car but will sell it for profit after the movie and remember during that time the r34 Skyline had to be 25 year’s of legal rule to be imported to the US which same for the GT-T.
@@420amits maybe as an idea, but with a lack of R34 in America period, it would be different. An LS swapped car isn’t unique but it cool and different.
@@Grim5687Same here brotha same. I remember paying $4200 for my R32 GTS-4 back in 2013 with mines ECU and few other goodies. I’d like another R32 some day for the weekends
@@AlexStuntn rewatch the videos bro, he said that in 2f2f all skylines were gtrs because at that time it was more expensive to convert gtt into gtr lookalike, but in the 4th movie there was only 1 gtr hero car and the rest were gtt's looking like gtr's
I prefer and own the R32 GTR. I’ve driven most versions from 31-35, gt, gt-st, gt-t, and more. Only ones I haven’t driven are before the R31 and harder to find like the 400r. And I can say without a doubt I still pick the R32 GTR. The OG Godzilla. Only downside is there isn’t a single cup holder but automatic climate control for driver and driver passenger separately, all the factory analog gauges, lighter, more nimble, doesn’t wear out the tires or brakes on the track, and much more. The only thing the R34 has is the 6 speed trans and debatable looks as each has their own preference.
i have a BNR32 AND agreed. the only improvement a r34 has over the r33 is shorter wheel base, over the r32, electronic AWD and HICCAS steering. many say the 6 speed make it better, but in Japan not so much. in the states and anywhere with wide straight roads, probably so.
@@DaDeCodeIsTruth uh theres a little more than just what you listed that makes the r34 technically superior but i get it. r32 is childhood dream car and weirdly i prefer the r33 looks to the 34.
for r34s, non-GTRs got Neo heads. meanwhile the GTR was still stuck with the same rb26dett from 1989, an entire decade ago. Yes, slight improvements were made over time to the rb26dett, but Neo heads were quite the game changer for the non-GTR trims
@@klayshotterIn 2f2f Brian's R34 is a GTT and you can tell from the two white lights at the back near the liscense plate, which, on the GT-R one of them is supposed to be red.
You can have more fun in the GTT or GTS T's. They have good torque and rwd and so thrilling. The R is definitely the king but don't sleep on the lower trims. They are a blast to drive
A 2jz is heavier than an LS V8 and some diesel engines too, there's a reason Toyota never raced it, because it was heavy as hell and didn't offer anything. It's overrated as hell
I was there for to fast to furious, on A1A and Johnson st Hollywood beach Fl. In front of wings souvenir store , they had the car shop there. Fun looking at the cars ..miss my home town...
Haha this is cool He’s from my area !! Crazy I remember a couple months ago his own kid every year at this Jamaican spot he literally two steps the car and everything it’s insanely funny and cool 😂
Not of fan of the modern GTR over here in the states since there’s no manual available for em but the older Skylines were some sick cars for their time.
A white GTR R34 was at a cars and coffee I went to and he had 2 Fast 2 Furious on the digital display. It stole the show for the JDM cars there and there was Supras, NSXs and a whole lot of other JDM cars.
Its like that fear that U get when U see a Wild animal, but behind a cage. U know U are safe ,but still.... there's this recurring thought.... "Am I safe though".... Thats what everyone gets when a GTR pulls up in any event. And thats exactly why its a legendary car.
1998-2005 Toyota Altezza, Is300 They come with GPS, climate control, and some versions of the Altezza came with a digital speedometer. Those were the years in which the Japanese made more efforts to manufacture good quality-price cars.
So what? The Buick Reatta had a digital dash in 1989. A whole decade earlier than the GT-R, and it isn’t the “King of all kings”. It’s a cool car don’t get me wrong, but the digital dash isn’t what makes a car cool.
