Months of work finally led to this. Although it was working in the dome, this is the first time I have integrated the system into R5. I had to rewire the slipring to allow it to pass 7.7 amps of current for the 3 seconds the smoke was being produced. I replaced his 12-wire slipring (which had a 6 amp capacity) with a 24-wire model. The new hardware now has 12 amps of capability.
