George Lucas was right about Disney we should have listened

As Star Wars fans soon learned to their anger, you never know what you had until it's gone. George Lucas was like the old car that took you to work each and every day for many years; imperfect and liable to problems, but it got you where you needed to go. The handover to Disney was when the car finally became a write off and now you had to walk. That aged rustbucket suddenly seems like a paradise now. The decline was apparent to me from The Force Awakens, not _just_ the next two films. I cannot, in good conscience, pick a "favourite" because that would imply there's one I like more or dislike less. They're all on an equally low platform and I wouldn't weep if they're ever officially decanonized (and not in everyone's precious "personal canon" sense because that's just desperate denial in my books, your canon is always trumped by what's currently official even if said official stuff is worse).

George Lucas, he’s just a fun guy who (despite) making a few less than favorable choices crafted an ingenious story using his heart, his mind, and his soul.

This guy did something incredible. I love it.

See how much joy George brought to the world? He doesn't even get offended if people make fun of him, and he doesn't lash out at fans for criticizing him. We need to stop taking him for granted and show him some gratitude and support in return. I don't want him to abandon Star Wars altogether, because I feel like his vision isn't complete yet and he has so much more to tell.

Happy Birthday George Lucas. I love all Star Wars movies. Rogue One, Solo, Episode 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, The Force Unleashed 1 and 2. is awesome. Kids love the action. Not violence.
