2005 R6. Only year they made that bike. 2003-2004R6, 2005R6 only one with the inverted shocks. The throttle bodies and air box are not interchangeable either. Then you got the 2006-2009r6s. That whole era of R6 is probably the toughest bikes made. There’s definitely tons of parts and they’re fun as shiz to ride. If you’re hard on your bikes and work on them regularly these bikes are way under valued.

A bike like that is perfect to hone skills, who gives a f*uck if you tear it or blow it up.

I want the bike. I hit a deer at about 70 mph on my Fjr last October 8 th, broke the hinge off my left shoulder blade and cracked my pelvic bone around my right hip in few spots. Kind of shy to get back on a bike since that was the second deer I've hit on a bike but anyways, I'd give it a good home, treat it better than you guys did.
