I’ve had a 23’ 650 for 3 months, getting my ZX6r June 3

The popping is from the pair valve, a scavenging system that links the airbox to the exhaust. You can get a blocking plate(s) to stop it. Had the same thing on my GSXR1000R after a tune and full exhaust. Rumours went around that someone was shooting at me ha ha. I got rid of the noise because it ended up driving me nuts! It will end up blowing your muffler packing out quicker than normal but doesn't hurt the engine. My FI light comes on from a weak battery too!

I got tuned by Alex as well and honestly it was a great turned out but if I can go back and delete the pops and bangs I would just because my bike pops wayyyy to much and the full titanium system doesn’t help with the noise 😂😬 overall great experience though 🤟🏽🔥

Stock on paper the ZX6R makes the same HP as my 2024 Street Triple 765RS. I’m hoping when tuning becomes available that I can hit those speeds on my bike. Currently when I hit 130 it slows down and struggles above 145 and does nothing at 149.

I thought I was the only one that thought the quick shifter on the 636 was booty. I have a 23” 636, it felt good initially so I thought but as I went gaining trust and riding more often I noticed it felt a bit jerky. Can’t lie tho it’s better when you’re in the higher gears.

Despite the actual numbers not showing much the tunes really wake these bikes up a lot. Especially if you have a header (or cat delete) and velocity stacks etc. The decel pops actually got annoying for me after a while though. I ended up eventually removing the smog pump crap and leaving turning the injectors back off on decel to get rid of all the popping off.

I almost bought an orange ninja 400 too!
