R9T Q & A: REINSTALL Your OEM Bars - How To 

So you bought a bike with Clip-Ons, but they just aren't working for you?
But not sure how to uninstall them, and reinstall the OEM Bars?
In this video, I share with you a quick summary of what you'll need to do, to get those OEM bars back on your bike so you can feel real comfortable riding again.
🔔 This is for the BMW R Nine T and similar editions of the NineT Heritage motorcycles.
IMPORTANT:
Before making the change check that all the cables (Brake Lines, Throttle Cable, Clutch Cable etc) have NOT been shortened when the clipons were installed. If they were shortened, and you attach them to the OEM Bars, you may have issues when you turn the handlebars. Like unexpected acceleration mid corner😬. Hopefully they were not shortened. 🤞
Tools Required:
- 36mm socket (for Steering Stem Nut)
- 400mm breaker bar (ditto)
- insulation tape (to protect triple tree & steering stem nut)
- Bottle of "Blue" Locktite (holds bolts tight)
- Small Soft Brass Wire Brush (*to clean threads out of old locktite)
- Set of Torx Keys (to undo controls)
- Set of Allen Keys (to undo clipons)
- 1 or 2 Torques Wrenches ( with combined range of 6Nm up to 100Nm, to tighten everything to specfication..very important
